Five dollar MM
People are willing to spend more on scratchers because the odds of winning something are far higher -- about 1 in 4. A $5 ticket that wins $5 can be replayed. A $10 win can be replayed for two more tickets. That initial price can buy you multiple chances to win a lot of money and you only have to be moderately lucky because most of the prize money is at the lower end which is easier to win.
Megamillions has a low chance of winning the smallest prize, very low chances of winning more than the

Based on this concept, we can create a powerful filter system. Here's a proposal:
Filter System to Optimize Lottery Bets
1. Ishikawa Diagram (Cause and Effect Analysis)
The Ishikawa diagram, also known as the fishbone diagram, helps identify the possible causes that affect the outcome of your bets. The main categories could be:
Number Selection Strategies: Do you always bet on the same numbers? Do you use birthdays? Do you choose even/odd numbers or multiples of a number?

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I totally agree that it's people who make things a headache. If I were to win something like Powerball, the majority would go into laddered treasury bills, with some in an S P 500 index fund. The last thing I would do is start my own business or invest in any sort of risky business venture. People go broke because they think this sudden windfall of money has given them some sort of insight on how to invest, start or run a business. If you weren't doing any of that before winning the lottery jack

01) Payments to the administrator: Someone out sick and fails to pay for a drawing - cover for them or not - are they out for the drawing or out forever?
This one should be very easy. If you had a pool of say 100 people, I would be shocked at a 100% collection rate for every drawing.
If someone fails to pay for a drawing (sick or not, that's irrelevant, people can fail to pay for any reason), why would they be included in the drawing? If you played the same numbers every week for years

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Wanted to update/correct my previous figures, as for some reason I thought there were only three interim prize periods, and there are actually four. Bottom line, 640,900 tickets need to be sold to fund all prizes to be awarded in the Raffle (interim prizes and Grand Prizes.) The duration of the raffle is 122 days, so sales need to average 5,245 tix a day. Based on the Lottery's figure of 169,906 tix sold as of 4/17 , sales are averaging 3,540 tix/day so far. Hard to say if sales will pick up or

The Gamblers Paradox
The gambler's fallacy theory looks good as a theory but not so good in reality. For the reason that it has its own fallacy, and a major one. This fallacy comes from the fact that random process and random outcome are different entities, with different applicable rules but the fallacy treats them as the same.
The fallacy emphasizes the fact that events are independent from each other. Its own fallacy lies in that it intentionally ignores outcomes from independent events. Because these outcome

Powerball
I know me, and I'd feel exactly as you would even though I play for entertainment. There are Hardrock casinos located near me, but I've never been. The only other form of gambling I do besides playing the lottery is in The Stock Market, which I've done for the last 45 years. Over that 45 year time period I've made more money than I ever invested, but there were a few times (like in 2000 and 2008) when I didn't do so well.
For me personally, in addition to the above, there's this - I have a

So if you find a winning formula, it's considered fraud?
Apparently you don't understand hypotheticals LOL.
But u mean to tell me if a 6 or 7 year old can somehow manage to predict lottery numbers, at no point are you going to play them?
Is that a Florida thing or what? FOH. Knowing this, you deserve to lose every time u play.
Lol if you prayed to God, if you believe in God, and asked God for a car, house, truck or whatever and your son just happens to turn on the tv and say, Oh this game again! and gives you the exact set of numbers , ar

Why do some people call this gambling?
There's an oid Twilight Zone episode where a gambler dies and goes to someplace with a casino.
When he gets there he goies on an incredible winning streak. He tells the pit boss he didn't think even heaven woiuld be this good.
The pit boss tells him, Oh, this isn't heaven .
For the gambler it was hell becayse he coulkd not lose a bet.
PS
Those who accept wagers on any form of gambling will tell you they are in the business of letting the bettors pick their own losers.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I don't think it has ever been unusual for the first draw or two to be underfunded, but they need to offer some minimum amount or even the addicts might stop playing. MM is gambling that $50 million is the minimum advertised jackpot that will get enough people playing, while posing a minimum risk of paying a jackpot before it's fully funded. The most recent example I see is when MM was hit on the first drawing a couple of years ago. Total sales of $19,255,000 only funded $13,759,894 of the start
