I am coming to your State 😁
Have scored some small wins here and there, nothing to pop champagne
When I got my Texas Lotto ticket, I asked the store clerk to give me a receipt for the sale,
I don't want to be engulfed in drama should I win

Buying MM or PB lottery tickets
Well, well. Someone in TX won $100,000 on MM's 4/5 with Megaball and 10X.
They don't say where the ticket was sold. They only post that for 1st and 2nd prize.

It looks as if the $5.00 MM ticket is doing poorly.
It took 40 draws, 5 months, to generate an annuity jackpot still sub billion. This is the longest series of rollovers ever recorded for Mega Millions. The Texas lottery, using an estimated sales figures translated into what are presumably Poisson distribution calculations, indicated that the probability of forty rollovers was less than 35%.
It follows if one does simple math that more than 40 rollovers would be required to reach annuity jackpots over a billion dollars, and thus is unlik

Lottery Post for the Hobbyist and Serious Lottery Player
That was not a video about professional lottery players. There's no such thing.
That was a video about what to do when you win the lottery.
Just because the title of a video on YouTube says professional doesn't make it true.
Lawyers and accountants for large jackpot winners are the professionals. The jackpot winners are the clients.
A professional gambler is someone who consistently makes money playing that game. Winning the lottery cannot be done consistently because it's pure l

Lottery Numbers Aren't Meant To Be Random
Wow...interesting.
That was a good read. I don't know if Texas Lottery pre-test 6 times because of that incident. Regardless though, pre-testing lottery numbers will never eliminate the predictability nature of lottery numbers.
Lottery numbers are not meant to be random. That just the cold hard fact of the matter. Put another way....if anything is borne of something such as a host, there will almost certainly be a predictable pattern or a uniform order of behavior.

Does Lottery Software work?
I like the argument from hypersoniq that the lottery is memoryless.
It does not remember the past draws.
This is especially true of ball draws, not sure about computer generated draws.
The truth is if there was a system that worked, we would have jackpot winners almost every drawing or every other draw, but we don't, more so for the bigger jackpots, PB, MM and other larger State games like those in Texas and California.
I mostly play QPs, but once in a while I try to do my own ab

Born to Kvetch
You can have a steak at Texas RoadHouse for say $30.
You can also have a steak at a Michelin Star restaurant in New York for $1,000.
You can have a steak, wherever you want to have a steak as long as you can afford to pay for it.
Same with flying, you can fly coach, business class, first class or charter a plane, it's all up to you.
Back to the lottery, whatever game or games you play, let them be those games that you can afford to play.
Respect to all that play $50 scratcher

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I'm not sure what numbers from the Texas spreadsheets you used in your previous post to determine the chance of a roll but what do you think are the chances we see another 2 billion jackpot?
There's a worksheet for every drawing, and you'll find a link to it on the page that shows the current advertised jackpot. Somewhere around noon on the day of the drawing (or Friday for Saturday's PB jackpot) they add the next jackpot if it rolls.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I understand your thinking completely. That thought has crossed my mind more than once.
It really comes down to when Powerball hits my target. It could be won and start over several times and take a really long time before it hits the target and is large enough for me to decide to go for it all in (kind of like Texas Hold'em!). It really is all patience, self control, math, and luck. And while I do have a plan about which combinations I will play I do see luck being the biggest factor.
