Who are you going to tell after you win the monday's powerball jackpot.
I found where I read about forming an LLC in another state such as Delaware, New Mexico or Wyoming vs. Florida. (I live in Florida and Florida law allows me to form an LLC in any state)
If you live in Florida this info may be of some value to you. Here's a cut and paste of what I found -
Anonymous LLCs
There are good reasons to form an anonymous LLC. This is largely because nothing good can come from posting your assets and personal information online. If you simply form a single LL

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
As far as I know, you'd have to set up a double blind trust fund through a lawyer in order to stay anonymous.
When you look through lists of winners, you see that some are claimed to an LLC. These are the people that had a double blind trust claim the winnings on their behalf in order to stay anonymous.

Florida and Claiming a Jackpot Anonymously
There's something fluky/crazy that I think is kind of interesting that could actually happen in Florida with a second place PowerBall win of either a million (or more) dollars.
In Florida, if you win more than $250,000 in any Florida lottery game, you can claim your winnings and remain anonymous, but only for six months! That's per Florida Statute 24.1051
On it's website, The Florida Lottery publishes a PDF file/report called Jackpot Winners Retailers Information .
If you win a jac

Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
In the video I watched, this guy gave a couple examples of how he was able to find a way for his client to claim anonymously in states that were not anonymous. In one state he said he studied the wording of the law and worked with the state Attorney General who agreed with his interpretation. I guess I'd have to get a signed agreement that he can do that in Idaho, and if not, I owe him only a few hundred bucks for his time investigating it.

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Does anybody know if any of the top prize winners of a million dollars in the current raffle will be able to remain anonymous?
I won 40 bucks yesterday. I'm going to spend it on two millionaire raffle tickets. If I was ever so lucky to win one of the top prizes, I'd want to claim it anonymously, but I'm not sure that can happen.
For Florida draw games (Lotto, PB, MM Fantasy5) only winners names of the top prize (a jackpot win) appear in The Top Prize Winners and Retailers Report publishe

you win the jackpot. how far away are you moving?
assume you won in a state that lets you stay anonymous so that you don't necessarily have to move.

Powerball
Wow, Im so glad I live in Texas. You can win a jackpot prize and remain anonymous. There's no grace period or anything like that. You get your money and move on without anybody knowing outside Lottery officials.
