The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
As far as I know, you'd have to set up a double blind trust fund through a lawyer in order to stay anonymous. When you look through lists of winners, you see that some are claimed to an LLC. These are the people that had a double blind trust claim the winnings on their behalf in order to stay anonymous.

Strong Methods
That's my thought too. I've seen several winners here who got no press when they won a few hundred thousand, but when they win again even if it's just 50K it suddenly becomes news. Since I live in a non-anonymous state, that would concern me.

In the video I watched, this guy gave a couple examples of how he was able to find a way for his client to claim anonymously in states that were not anonymous. In one state he said he studied the wording of the law and worked with the state Attorney General who agreed with his interpretation. I guess I'd have to get a signed agreement that he can do that in Idaho, and if not, I owe him only a few hundred bucks for his time investigating it.

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Does anybody know if any of the top prize winners of a million dollars in the current raffle will be able to remain anonymous? I won 40 bucks yesterday. I'm going to spend it on two millionaire raffle tickets. If I was ever so lucky to win one of the top prizes, I'd want to claim it anonymously, but I'm not sure that can happen. For Florida draw games (Lotto, PB, MM Fantasy5) only winners names of the top prize (a jackpot win) appear in The Top Prize Winners and Retailers Report publishe

If I lived in a non anonymous state like California, I would still very minimally check with a lottery attorney to see if I missed anything even if I was 99.9 % certain of the answer. After that, yea just a tax attorney and financial expert. I would bring them with me to claim just to take the photo focus off of one person. But I am overly cautious.

Paying more money will not guarantee you anonymity. It sounds like Duke consulted honest attorneys. A good and experienced attorneys will ask about other options and if the lottery officials states we are a full disclosure and non anonymous lottery, you are out of luck.

Watch the video. Pretty simple to understand. Reading is fundamental. 1. A state only allowed anonymous claiming for $10 million plus wins and the jp was under that amount. 2. A young guy in his 20s decided to take the yearly annuity of 350k. 3. The attorney argued that based on the expected lifespan of this young person, the total annuities would easily exceed $10 million over his expected lifespan. THUS HE WAS ALLOWED TO CLAIM ANONYMOUSLY. A very creative legal argument that worke

There is a fascinating interview on YouTube with a lottery attorney. He discusses how Michigan had tried to delay allowing his client to claim and the Michigan lottery claimed they were not ready . After 3 weeks he told the lottery he was showing up the next day at 10 AM and if the lottery office was not ready, he was calling a press conference. The state lottery backed down. For another client in another state, the lottery officials claimed the client did not win $10 million to qualify for
