Dynamic or flexible system(s).
Some people post systems here, but they only work a small part of the time.Just like some or many filters work only sometimes, filter failures compound each other, so the more filters used the more often that they fail.A person most have a dynamic or flexible system, the draws move from a set of patterns to another, either quick or slowly, whatever part of your total system that you are using at a particular time most be the part that is working with that particular game at that particular time.

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
The only way to increase or decrease the Odds of any lottery game is by changing the game matrix. The Odds are the equation of the game. Coin Toss understood my point Thrifty is right, each individual ticket (one line of numbers) is up against the very same odds, 175,000,000 to one. Yes you can increase your chances of winning by buying more tickets, but every single tickets will go against the Odds of the particular game. I feel that the following explains my point very well.

Protest Changing the Big Game!
Hi Everyone,Like all of you, I too, play the Big Game. BUT I was alarmed to find out the following notice posted on the website recently: The Big Game will be reconfigured to include a larger pool of numbers to select from .We do NOT want a LARGER pool of numbers because that will make it that much HARDER to win! The LESS numbers the BETTER the odds of us winning! But the MORE numbers to choose from, the WORSE the odds are, that is, it will be even HARDER for us to win.I don't want this game re

I'm growing angrier with lotteries each day!
You are correct, Redd55, when the designers of this game sat down at the meeting table and talked about changing/fixing the game. They did not have the players in mind for more winners.

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Lottery players like to play for life changing jackpots, people that like to play for bigger jackpots are not interested in higher lower tier prizes. I hope that this game does not fail like the Monopoly Millionaires' Club lottery game.

The biggest mistake people make is:
I think the biggest mistake people make is not knowing the game, the numbers that hit the most/least the odds vs evens, not knowing which group shows up more/less the way the game commission set it up and keep changing it...I have read that some balls show up more because they get handled alot but what about the ball out for 30 games ???

MI and OH need new games
Ohio has a unique situation now with its Classic Lotto game. It's a pick6/49 game with a $23M jackpot which is one of the top 10 jackpots in the country with the best odds of a win. If this doesn't encourage tickets sales, nothing will. I doubt if anyone connected with the lottery is interesting in changing that.

Do you keep a lotto log?
I used to keep a log of numbers played and how much I played and won and lost (mostly lost) on each game. Now I just keep an excel file of each game I play and the amount played and won or lost. I'm always changing or tweaking what I play and the amount so I like to keep track of where my $ goes. Also, if I win (big) I have a written file for taxes and I keep my old tickets.
