Gotta love those people that think they're experts at something they know nothing about. I once worked with someone like that. Nobody in the office would talk to him unless it was work related. Even if it was related to the job, you couldn't tell him anything. One day a in a very annoyed sounding voice a lady said to him If you already knew the answer to the question you asked me, why did you ask me in the first place? I had all I could do to keep from bursting out loud with laughter.

I believe that the government money goes to the physical plant, staff, teachers, food for breakfasts and lunches, and so on. The supplies mentioned are what the parents are supposed to supply their children with - notebooks, paper, pencils, rulers, etc. Some kids from less fortunate families would not have any of this if not for the donations. My wife and I got about $100 in scratchers to do around Christmas, then took the $50 we won and bought 1 PA raffle ticket and $30 in scratchers. The raffle ticket brought nothing and I still have $16 in winnings off the scratchers to turn in. Will I buy another raffle ticket? Yep.
