would you rather win 1, 10, 50, 100, or 500 million $
You've got to deal in the real world more than theories and opinions. As I said before when someone on a craps table is raking it in on prop bets there is likely to be another player telling others what 'stupid' bets that player is making. As a ps when Colorado casinos first opened some Vegas dealers went there but most came back to Vegas. In Vegas they'd been making $40 to $100 a day in tips, in Colorado maybe $20.

Is anyone here in (or near) Mississippi and playing Cash 3?
I've got my 5 page printout of all number combos ready for when the Colorado Lottery does the same thing!

MM $5, PB $2, Powerplay $1I
If MUSL didn't like Powerplay, they would get rid of it. They love it because it has a profit margin of 50%.
If 12 people win the 2nd place prize with its 1 in 11 million chance of winning, that would imply 140 million tickets sold. At the rate of $1 extra per ticket for Powerplay, that's $140 million in gross revenue.
MUSL would much rather bring in $140 million in gross revenue and pay out $12 million extra (plus more on the lower prizes).
Most people (including me) don't pay extra

Lottery vending machine
I've used a lottery vending machine in Colorado but I only play QP. The screen has number buttons on it if the player wishes to choose the numbers. I don't think it will accept play slips but the next time I use one, I'll check it out.

classic questions on lottery forums
EV is the most important thing I consider, along with price and odds of winning. It's why I almost never play the draw games because the return is just terrible. The scratch offs pay back more (in Colorado).

Powerball
Did you click on the wrong post to reply to? The one who disagreed and criticized, and rather rudely, is GiveFive.
He wrote Speculating about me wasting gas when I'm in Florida and you're in Colorado makes you look stupid . and Aren't you glad you were so speculative with your reply? ... Why don't you spend your time a bit more intelligently by gaining a good understanding (like I have with Florida) of what your legal options are in Colorado instead of making yourself look bad ? Speculating about me wasting gas when I'm in Florida and you're in Colorado makes you look stupid. I know if I'm wasting gas or not, you don't.
But you are correct about what I should do which is claiming smartly. I'd be smart about it by hiring an estate and asset protection attorney and have them claim it as the legal representative of the revocable living trust I'd have them set up. (The Florida Lottery allows an entity such as an LLC or a trust to be the official claimant of the prize)

You Can't Lose If You Don't Play
I knew there were some nutty people on this site, but this is a new one.
Multiple scientific studies have shown that vaccines do not cause autism. But you can choose to believe otherwise. Hopefully you don't have any children you expose to preventable diseases to satisfy your desire to believe in conspiracy theories.
I really don't understand why some people still believe the Earth is flat, hundreds of years after being disproven. Are the pictures taken from satellites fake? And what doe

Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
yeah, i have seen first hand that handling estates can be pretty complicated. i have heard the advice that if you live in a state with zero option for anonymity, like california and colorado, then you probably don't even need a lawyer to claim your prize, but that you would be better off contacting the vip client dept of a big bank and having them help you get the money squared away, and then later shop around for a good estate planning lawyer. what do you think of that advice? or do you think i
