Playing the lottery is a form of entertainment. Other forms of entertainment include: 1. Paying for your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Cable subscriptions. 2. I know the dictionary definition of gambling but I don't see buying a lottery ticket as a risk, more like entertainment and a wish to win. Buying in st a casino or race track or sports book for a few yards is taking a risk.

Usually I refrain from telling others how to spend their money, as do most other sensible people that know how to mind their own business. Apparently Elmer doesnt know how to do that. Personally I don't knock those that play MM. Everyone has their own reasons for playing or not playing MM, whether it's indignation at paying $5, or the ones that will pay $5 because the jackpot is still life changing. Back in the day when my wife and I were pulling down plenty of money to cover bills and had enough left over for entertainment, I would play all the lottery games. These days I'm pretty stuck on a budget, and that means picking which games to play and which games not to play. To e

I that buying lottery tickets and depending on winning a large jackpot is not exactly a wise investment but there is an entertainment value for 10 bucks a week too. And there many more worse things people could be spending $10 bucks a week on.
