The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
The Florida Lottery finally updated their weekly sales data. Their potential total sales figure comes to 379128. One thing I saw that I hadn't noticed before was this note on the bottom of the sales update page: *Ticket sales will continue through June 30, 2026, or until 2,000,000 tickets are sold, whichever occurs first. Uh, Florida Lottery, reality is calling...

Finally! Millionaire For Life Jackpot Winner!
It was not available in Idaho either. We had Lucky for Life which ended at the same time as Cash4life, and Idaho picked up MfL. Weird that Florida didn't.

Finally! Millionaire For Life Jackpot Winner!
What I personally hate about Millionaire For Life is that Millionaire For Life replaced Cash4life and isn't even available in Florida where I live. At least Cash4life was available in all 50 States if I'm not mistaken.

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Update from Florida Lottery: 299435 tickets sold as of 6/4. At 96 days in, that averages to 3119 sold per day. The drawing is 26 days from 6/4, and if sales hold around that average, we are looking at a potential total Raffle sales around 380529.

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
The Florida lotto will be just fine. They run profit on other games. I'm not at all worried about them, and I don't care if they experience a dud game once in a blue moon.

Rising Gas Prices and the Lottery
I couldn't agree more with that statement if I had to. I just happen to be in the middle of taking a break from playing the games I usually play but it's not because I'm keeping an eye on myself. It's because of that Florida Lottery Millionaire Raffle. Tickets went on sale on March 1st and cost 20 bucks a pop and the final drawing to win a million dollars isn't until July 2nd. I've been averaging buying one ticket per month. (That's not true, I bought 2 tickets in May because 40 bucks c

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
At the top of the Florida Lottery home page is a navigation button that says Winning. There is a Winner's Guide section, and a Forms Contacts section. You'd still want to talk to an attorney, but these may give you some things to think about. Plus if you hit the big one, you're not going to a local claims office. You're going to Tallahassee!

Taxes
I'm a member of a large group that have been playing for years. When the time comes and we win I know a tax attorney and accountant is suggested. I have read a LLC or of sort will be needed to claim the one check prise. My question is......... I know the Florida lottery collects 24 percent before issuing the check to the LLC and the LLC will distribute equal checks to each member. Now each member will be taxed again. That's double tax in my opinion. Can each member get a tax credit for what was
