People think gambling is risky.
People think gambling is risky. But you know what's even more risky? Going through your whole life without taking any chances. In my opinion everyone should be gambling at least a small amount of their net worth each year. Say even 1%. Think about it. If you gambled $1 every single day on a pick 5 or fantasy 5 thats only $365 a year. Even if you lived another 80 years that would only be $29,200 spent over a lifetime. A jackpot on a pick 5 or fantasy 5 would easily be 6 figures if you hit it once

In gambling jargon you're a flea if you are always making the minimum bet.

Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
You are forgetting that more and different online gambling is being permitted by some states such as sports gambling and casino gambling apps. There is a limited pool of player money with more and more competitors. Hey! The Powerball jackpot is $50 million... Wait,oh! Look at the squirrel

MM $5, PB $2, Powerplay $1I
My thought is if a person is struggling financially that they can't afford an extra dollar, they shouldn't be gambling in the first place. It's easy to say it's only 2 or 3 dollars , but if finances are that tight, don't blow it on the lottery, or any gambling.

Why do some people call this gambling?
First of all, I don't play to gamble. I play to win! and when I win, how is it gambling? I only play when I know I'm going to win. So why do they call it gambling???? I keep winning.

People think gambling is risky.
Of course gambling is risky. That's the whole point -- risking your money hoping to win. As far as your statement that everyone should gamble, that is just ridiculous. People who have gambling addiction should not gamble. People who live paycheck-to-paycheck should not gamble. That leaves about half the population. State lotteries depend on people gambling more than they should. They sell more tickets in poor neighborhoods because people are trying to win their way out of poverty.

Would u pay for lottery numbers if its guaranteed for u to get numbers
You do that. Using the word guarantee with any form of gambling is a red flag.

What do you mean by when drinks were free ? Drinks are still complimentary for people who are gambling. Some places have a minimum time spent gambling in order to qualify, just to get rid of trolls who show up and bet the minimum and want a drink immediately. It has nothing to do with tipping. I've seen people bet the minimum and tip generously, and I've seen people bet huge and stiff the staff. The non-tippers are the real fleas, and they get the service they deserve.
