I suppose this is a twist on the original premise. But yes I bought an RNG ticket. I am a hypocrite! But I won a little cash. (using my gap strategy) But the only cheaper alternative was a pick 3 which is also a RNG. And a pick 3, I cant really use the same gap strategy. X[?,?] I suppose its not impossible to adapt a gap strategy for pick 3. I did try not too long ago, but I was having a hard time to make the 470, rearrange into a 047, so I mostly gave up for now. Luminus In order to use Gap Strategy to generate numbers for Take 5, I would have to go back 50 draws and develop the workouts. Even then, there may not be enough data to facilitate number generation. I'm currently keeping data on all five of the Texas on-line lottery games, as well as Florida Fan 5. I don't know if its just a coincidence that this topic came up almost immediately after I posted a Gap Strategy Tx Pick 3 worksheet in the Lottery Systems forum. I can't begin to count the amount of time I've spent explaining my Gap Strategy system, which by the way is NOT a lottery number generator, per se. Food for thought I developed a paper and pencil structured workout called Gap Strategy. I've gone out of my way to explain how it works. I've given numerous examples, including predictions for certain games. I used a Pick 3 worksheet, but the strategy is adaptable for any on-line game. None of the above. Plug away at your own strategy. Don't give up. Keep adding filters. Just fired up my gap strategy from last year. Sometimes old sheets have nuggets in them that you didn't see at the time. The light is shining a little brighter today. Hitting the lottery is like a complex recipe. I believe you need a little from multiple filters to hone in the winning numbers. I don't have it yet. But it's there. Just got to find it.

There are only 5 winning numbers and it's possible to have all 5 in a group of 28 numbers and it's possible to have all 5 using 16 numbers. The more numbers used gets better chances of matching all 5, but it also gives you more numbers that won't be drawn. MM is a 5 if 5 of 56 numbers game and using 28, 16, or even 6 numbers doesn't change the 5 if 5. I like Gap Strategy bobby he picks numbers, for specific reasons too. I use a self-developed strategy I call Gap Strategy for all games, except for Pick 4 (too many doubles). Basically, the procedure provides 3 choices for each number group. I then use other data to make my choices (guesses). The strategy is not a number generator per se, although there is component that suggests which number groups to play.
