The pool is not active yet. Still waiting for a bigger jackpot. Not sure when the pool will start buying. I think it also depends on how many people in the pool. Hoping it will be soon.

Our pool has finally run out of money. We played a total of 35 draws - 18 Mega Millions draws and 17 Powerball draws. The pool started in September and ended with the Powerball draw on December 20. We won a few dollars here and there that helped extend the life of the pool. It was amazing there was always a large jackpot to play for close to 4 months. I have bought multi country lottery tickets as part of a pool. The pool bought Euro Millions and Euro Jackpot tickets when there have been bonus draws with huge jackpots. The jackpots were well over $100 million and the odds are better than both Powerball and Mega Millions.

The Powerball jackpot was won in the April 29 draw with two winning tickets. There was only a 3.5% estimated chance the jackpot would be won. This is Mega Millions chance to get way ahead and possibly set a new record. It appears unlikely the Powerball jackpot will catch up in this run.
