Power Ball ticket In Md with power play is $3

Each playslip has five play areas or panels. You can play up to five Powerball plays on each playslip! Each play costs $2. Mark the Power Play box to add the Power Play option; that option adds $1 to each play.
Mark the Double Play box to add the Double Play option; that option adds $1 to each play.

Jackpot.com
Buyer beware!!! I just closed my account with them due to shady practices.
I purchased two consecutive days tickets on the pick 4. The purchase was made 9/30 @8:04 am. One for midday for two draws and one for evening for two draws. The number was the date 1001. Much to my surprise the second evening drawing 10/01 was turned into a midday drawing without my consent. So here I thought I planned ahead and right there on their website they encourage you to make multi draw purchases so you never

MM $5, PB $2, Powerplay $1I
Just my two cents...mega only if it's WAY up there and then minimal. NEVER the Powerball without the power play. Adjust the number of tickets purchased to include the extra buck. I have a group lottery that I will not join because of no power play. It makes no sense to me and I'm better off on my own.

MM $5, PB $2, Powerplay $1I
I find your perspective interesting because it is completely opposite to mine.
I like the pool I joined because they do not play power play for the Powerball game. Since the pool is going to divide the winnings among all the members of the pool, I want the pool to only spend money on the largest prize possible.
It is different for Mega Millions. We do not have a choice. The multiplier is built in.
Why do you want the power play included in the pool?

MM $5, PB $2, Powerplay $1I
I don't play either one very often but when I do I always got the Mega Plier or Power Play. Like you said, you hit 5 numbers for $1M and you could have won $2-5 million instead but you were like, I didn't want to spend the extra buck ... And now you're like What was I thinking?

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I won $20 on the Saturday PB draw. That feels good and am thankful I had power play on it.

Once in a blue moon powerball X10
When I add the power play, I almost always expect a X2, as such I never look at it.

Powerball
I don't play the jackpot games very often but when I do, I get the power play every time, and I did the same with the mega plier when it was an option.
If I hit 5+0 without the PP I would be like, You mean I could have won 2 million dollars instead of 1 million but I didn't because I didn't want to spend the extra buck? What was I thinking?

89 second prize winners for the powerball
Pennsylvania holds this in their rules in the event of secondary prizes exceeding the reserve...
COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA
(2) Except as otherwise provided in section 871.8(c)(4), if the sources set forth in paragraph (1) are depleted and there still are not sufficient funds to pay the set prizes, including Power play prizes, for a particular Powerball drawing, the highest set prize shall become a parimutuel prize . If the amount of the highest set prize, when paid as a parimutu

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
That means it's diffrent. Reguardless if they automatically add something.
Here's an experiment that should be extremely easy if you're really in Baltimore. Walk or drive the short distance to a convenience store, walk in, and say, Good day, Sir/Madam. I'd like to purchase one Powerball ticket with Power Play . Then you can get back to us and let us know if the cost is different than buying a ticket in Idaho. If it is you can boast about being right every day for a year. If it's not the bes
