Great points and there are those of us who work in companies at certain levels that upon resignation, the company prefers to pay you out and end the relationship same day.

I agree,,, what resignation letter ? No use working a two weeks notice out. The amount of resentment from fellow co-workers would be terrible 'if' they knew the reason for me quitting. So mums the word would have to be the route to take.

Its easy. When I am at the store buying a drink or something else, I usually see the silent look of a person who has just fiinished scratching off their ticket and their eyes darting all over the ticket trying to find a match and the resignation of not finding any. Those instances remind me to keep away from scratchers.

I already have a car. I would want to be debt free, then buy a home of my own, and after that I'm off to Jamaica for two weeks. After telling my boss to find a new Admin. Asst. to drive nuts, because I'm through!!!! Would I be wrong to send my letter of resignation via fax, while chilling on the beach drinking a rum punch?

What resignation letter? I will copy Julie Leach from Michigan and call it quits that day or night. Scott Bowen the Michigan Lottery host was happy to see her claim $140,000,000.00 after all deductions and taxes are paid. She must be living the good life because we have not heard anything from her.
