I'm done playing the lottery
I rarely play draw games. The house edge is ridiculous and the odds of winning are absurd. Usually I play the scratch-off games, and I am particular about which ones. When a certain game is only available at that stupid vending machine that has made its way on my ban list, I'm left with nothing to play. Yesterday, before I started this thread, I went to the convenience store down the street and tried to buy the $3 ka-pow bingo. They had none. This idiotic state lottery makes way too many

What's Your Strategy for Playing a New Draw Game?
With the new Millionaire for Life game I'm trying to decide whether to spend a lot on the first draw, or wait a while. Do you think there's any chance the JP will be won right off? I know a few scratch buyers who always rush to buy new scratchers when they first come out, but haven't heard any opinions on draw games.

Scratch off's
I just googledmy state. This is what ai said....., Maryland scratch-off prizes are paid in a lump sum, not an annuity . Annuity payments, which distribute winnings in installments over many years, are an option only for large jackpot prizes from specific drawing games like Powerball, Mega Millions, and Multi-Match.

classic questions on lottery forums
EV is the most important thing I consider, along with price and odds of winning. It's why I almost never play the draw games because the return is just terrible. The scratch offs pay back more (in Colorado).

LOTTERY POST 25TH ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY #4
Thank you all for participating in our fourth giveaway to celebrate Lottery Post's 25th Anniversary! There was a great mix of all sorts of games, from scratch-off games to local in-state games to multi-state games, but it looks like Pick 3 and Pick 4 emerged as the most popular (at least from everyone here in this thread). This giveaway is now officially closed. Winners will be announced very soon!

Anti Computerized Lottery Petition
Lotteries make buckets of money. The cost of doing live ball drawings is a sliver of the ticket price. I'm boycotting RNG games starting now. That means no more Millionaire for Life. All of Colorado's in-state draw games are RNG. I already put their ticket vending machines on my ban list, so there's almost nothing here for me to play because stores have such a limited selection of scratch offs. I encourage everyone to boycott and force these people to end every RNG game.

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
I posted one or two winning scratch-off tickets from a series with better chances of a top prize than at the beginning of the ticket run. They weren't huge winners, but neither are 50 cent boxed bets on pick 3 with its crummy paytable. You haven't shut down any lottery games. Your imagination the real world.

Ohio Lotto Scratch Off +Print Tickets
Curious question re players of Ohio Lottery Games. For a hobby I collect losing instant and print tickets from my local retailer and enter them on MyLotto on their website for points. They have a limit of 1200 points worth of tickets monthly. I routinely collect far more in any given month than I can enter for points. I personally prefer to use the points towards Lotto Cash Coupons to buy more instant tickets. Am curious of any way I can donate some of my surplus tickets to other OHIO players as

Question about online lotteries
Can only speak for the Kentucky's online lottery. Mostly play 4 minute Keno, but have played some of the daily games. Probably the most asked question is about collecting winnings. With any winnings over $600, they'll send a check or players can collect at the lottery headquarters the next day. It's easy depositing funds into a player account using the same methods for most online purchases. Only winnings can be withdrawn so I wouldn't suggest anyone depositing too much money at one time. P

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I think they're doing a raffle as just a way to shake it up and try something different. Raffles do well in other states, so maybe they can catch on here too. I'd think that a first or second time (in so many years) might fly under the radar, but bring awareness to this new way to play after it concludes and later if a new round begins. This round would advertise the next, so to speak, as people who didn't play hear about the winnings. A loss of revenue once isn't a loss if it becomes a spri
