you win the jackpot. how far away are you moving?
Very true indeed. Gates provide a false sense of security. I live in a gated community and all those gates do is keep out people that mean no harm and solicitors. The bad guys cant be stopped getting in the community even with the gates closed. There is no security guard in the guard house at the gates either. The HOA says it's too expensive to hire security guards and won't pay for them. The worst felony gates help to reduce is burglary. National studies of gated community's show gates red

Money and the Crime of Kidnaping
Here are a few points that connect my impressions to the latest facts: The Ring/Nest Video : The footage you mentioned has become a cornerstone of the investigation. Images show an armed, masked individual wearing gloves and attempting to cover the camera lens with foliage before disconnecting it. Experts noted the suspect seemed to know the exact location of the cameras, suggesting a highly pre-planned crime. The Kidnapper's Intelligence : As the detective you heard mentioned, there are sig

Lottery is not random it's predetermined
I've always believed that state lotteries truly want winners, especially big jackpot winners. What does rigging a draw do for the state? I think there are two obvious reasons for the lotteries themselves to rig the game(s). One would be so that a few insiders could divert prize money to themselves. The other, and better, IMHO, reason would be to allow a jackpot to continue growing in order to boost sales. The problem is that no matter how much the people running the lottery might apprec

Lottery is not random it's predetermined
Except for the fact that the state is ultimately responsible for the security and validity of it's draw methods. Let's not discount Edward Plevel's role... he was a PA state lottery official also involved in the scheme. So it is not like the PA lottery had no involvement...

If You Won BIG, Would You Perform Risk Management?
My top concern after winning a large amount would be security for myself and my family. Securing the finances is important, obviously, but I'd be nervous every time somebody left the house because of the kidnapping risk. No anonymous claiming in my state, so your name's going to show up on the radar of literally a bunch of people you'd rather never meet.

LOTTERY POST 25TH ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY #2
If I won a large lottery jackpot I would invest some of it for retirement security. I would help my family and friends. Then I would donate some to worthy causes and take a nice vacation.

The following from page 9 of the document spells out how they select which ball sets are used for which live drawing: The back-up public witness will then be asked to make the random ball set selections. Seventeen (17) sets of ten (10) balls, each numbered 0-9, will be contained in cases labeled A1 through A17 (or the current ball set security codes in service). Numerous State Lottery holdouts
https://www.kylottery.com/apps/funclub/faq.html Kentucky specific draw games, like Pick 3, Pick 4, Kentucky Cash Ball, Keno, Cash Pop and Kentucky 5, are drawn using a digital drawing system utilizing a random number generator (RNG), instead of using balls and machines. Using the RNG accomplishes the drawings quickly and more efficiently while maintaining the highest level of security. The digital drawing system is not connected to any external system and contains no ability to connect

2026 lottery headlines you hope to see
Ask Sleepy Joe Biden. Why didn't it happen during his term? Why didn't Pelosi and Kamala push for the releases?? A vote was required by Congress to release the files and a law was signed by Trump to release the files. Trump got it done. Files also had to be reviewed and redacted for info like social security #s, credit card #s, addresses, personal phone numbers and a long list of personally protected info. To get this all done in a year is commendable.
