you win the jackpot. how far away are you moving?
Very true indeed. Gates provide a false sense of security. I live in a gated community and all those gates do is keep out people that mean no harm and solicitors. The bad guys cant be stopped getting in the community even with the gates closed. There is no security guard in the guard house at the gates either. The HOA says it's too expensive to hire security guards and won't pay for them. The worst felony gates help to reduce is burglary. National studies of gated community's show gates red

Impact of "Free Money" on Lottery Spending
I'm a mental accounting guy myself. Last week I won 40 bucks playing a dice game called Left, Right, Center. The Old Fogies that live around here play it at The Activity Center once per month. They get a group of maybe 100 people sitting around tables rolling dice trying to win the pot . Unbelievable how LOUD those fogies start screaming when they start rollin' them bones. From lookin' at 'em, you wouldn't think they had that much life left in 'em. (Not that I aint an Old Fogie myself or nu

would your diet and eating habits change if you won the jackpot?
Huge change by cutting out all the caffeine and boredom snacks required to get through a 10.5 hour shift... No staff though, hired help is always a weak security link. I would like to build one of those robotic gardens to grow fresh veggies.

I know that this is technically not a lottery question, it's about PCH Sweepstakes bankruptcy .
He said this left him financially ruined and he can't find a job as he hasn't worked in roughly 10 years and is an older man. He said he blew his PCH Annuity payments frivolously Poor decisions can lead to all sorts of problems. If he's lucky some of that frivolous spending resulted in assets that can be sold, such as more house than a guy with a modest fixed income (he probably qualifies for social security) needs, and Walmart might give him a job as a greeter. What do the wronged PCH

Annuity or Cash Value
What would be a reasonable cut off age where one says, heck no, am taking cash I don't think that whether or not you expect to live long enough to collect all of the payments is a good reason for making the choice between cash and annuity. Being older, within reason, could argue in favor of the annuity. If you're under 50 or 60 there are probably a lot more reasons you might want to spend a disproportionate amount of the jackpot in the first few years. If you're 70 and the cash value is $10

Anti Computerized Lottery Petition
At the Virginia Lottery, we take gaming seriously, making sure that each and every draw takes place under rigid security procedures. After all, every game should abide by certain rules and standards. Two hours before each draw, three Lottery officials report to the television studio where the draw show is held and go over a thorough checklist that includes: Randomly selecting the ball sets and the draw machines to be used that evening. Testing the equipment, conducting pretest drawings a

Michigan Weekly Breakdown — Fantasy 5 & Lotto 47 Trend Report (April 4-9)
Great questions, and I appreciate you digging into the actual game rules. Most people never bother reading those. I've looked into both of those sections before, so here's my take. The certain information is not available to the general public language in the Ineligibility section is standard legal boilerplate. Every state lottery has something similar. It mostly covers internal security and audit procedures, employee eligibility restrictions, and vendor information. It's not about the win

Michigan Weekly Breakdown — Fantasy 5 & Lotto 47 Trend Report (April 4-9)
Hello Rich Tucker Black, I agree somewhat to disagree in regards to the RNG Draw Games. I agree that the MI Lottery needs to cover operations for security reasons. First of all in my opinion, what I had brought up has nothing to do with Pick 3 or Pick 4 games. Those games are televised every day. RNG Pick 5 and Pick 6 games are not. The rules again simply state... the Lottery Officials (LO's) can eliminate a certain number or a combination of numbers at any time, without notice.
