Lottery System
The handful of systems that I've checked out over the years ,in general, were just rubbish. The problem with systems is that they aren't really in tune or in sync with how the game works. It matters that the system you choose to use should take into account both probability and patterns.

Anti Computerized Lottery Petition
part of the problem with computerized drawings is that state lotteries use third party vendors to make overly elaborate computer programs that the lottery employees themselves cannot easily audit because they're run on some proprietary systems.
an eighth grader could write a simple python or javascript program to generate lottery numbers. this is not difficult stuff. and it would be cheaper to do this in-house. but probably some lottery officials get kickbacks for outsourcing every single l

New play methodology
I think it depends on HOW you use past draws.
Looking for a quick formulaic answer that attributes any sort of mathematical properties is definitely wrong. You are 100% correct with the animal picture analogy.
The last few systems I tried to develop were given a final test of replacing the numeric draw history with letters. Which highlights the conclusion that overall, it is not a problem to be solved by regression, but there may be value to classification.
It does not matter which i

Can AI Be Effectively Be Ued to Win a PB Jackpot?
I have a very private wife. She comes from a family that's very private. They're so private that if they don't know you, they definitely wont talk to you, and if they do know you, they gotta like you. If they don't like you, you aint havin' too much of a conversation with them. Took me more than just a little while to have conversations with them at her family's gatherings.
I also have a nephew and he's kinda geeky. He retired after working for both Hewlett Packard and Cisco Systems. He was

classic questions on lottery forums
Studying past draws is a waste of time. Each drawing is an independent random event. The only way to increase the probability of winning is to buy more tickets.
It is true that each drawing is an independent random event. Since I mostly play the pick 3, it is also independent by position.
Also, more tickets is the only way to change the odds. But I am frugal so I would rather pick 1 combo than 10 or more, as the draw will still be from 1,000 combinations regardless of how many would be

I'm done playing the lottery
I lied. THIS will be my last post about working for IBM! I decided to write it because of what I think will be some GREAT laughs. Hang in there while reading it because it will be lengthy.
I worked for IBM for more than 30 years, most of which I spent working in and around IBM's massive data centers in New York. One raised floor I worked on was 100,000 square feet. (That's more than 2 acres) In that data center IBM had every kind of hardware and software you could possibly think of. There we

New play methodology
Playing all the numbers does improve chances for winning, particularly bigger prizes.
I used to play 24 number groups. My biggest problem was that the groups of 24 were missing numbers well too often for my comfort. In order to spread the risk I even played 5 different groups at the same time. The statistical hit rate for 24 numbers is 3.43. I only played systems that exceeded this average. My budget limit was $30 per play which forced me to allocate only 6 lines per group. These tiny wheels

Can AI Be Effectively Be Ued to Win a PB Jackpot?
This is what Google's Gemini had on the subject...
An AI model is
a software program or mathematical engine trained on large datasets to recognize patterns, make predictions, or perform specific tasks without explicit step-by-step instructions. In 2025, these models are increasingly categorized by their primary function, learning approach, and data modality.
