The handful of systems that I've checked out over the years ,in general, were just rubbish. The problem with systems is that they aren't really in tune or in sync with how the game works. It matters that the system you choose to use should take into account both probability and patterns.

I think it depends on HOW you use past draws. Looking for a quick formulaic answer that attributes any sort of mathematical properties is definitely wrong. Studying past draws is a waste of time. Each drawing is an independent random event. The only way to increase the probability of winning is to buy more tickets. Playing all the numbers does improve chances for winning, particularly bigger prizes. I used to play 24 number groups. My biggest problem was that the groups of 24 were missing numbers well too often for my comfort. In order to spread the risk I even played 5 different groups at the same time.
