Washington state getting ready to impose huge taxes on lottery jackpots
Just a heads-up to Washington state players: You may go from zero taxes on lottery wins to 9.9% state tax on jackpot wins. This is among the largest state taxes in the country.
The Washington state senate passed legislation in the past couple of days to create a new state tax on millionaires , which means lottery jackpot winners.
The bill now goes to the state House, and then after that to the governor to sign.
What a tragedy. If lower income residents of the state think they're safe

Annuity or Cash Value
I fervently hope that the guy in Washington D.C . would issue an executive order making a mandatory interest rate of 0.00% for all lottery annuities and removing taxation for all lottery winnings, forever .
Haah, if anythang, he'll issue an Executive Order assigning All Yo interest to HIM !

Washington DC Pick 5 1 in 200 million odds
Those are the late draws. The draws in question are the midday and evening draws. There is no late draw for Pick 5.
For the month of April there have only been singles for Washington D.C. in the midday draw, and the evening draw for Pick 3, Pick 4, and Pick 5. It's a big deal if people are purchasing tickets that have no chance of winning. Seems worth investigating to me.

Patterns in computer generated numbers vs Air/Vacuum draw machines
Ive lived in Washington state for many years and had software developed to see if there are patterns in the states computer generated lottery games. The idea is, every time a certain number is drawn, what gets drawn next? I do that by looking at the last time that number has been drawn. Same can be done with pairs, triples and so on. For example, with Keno, i can go back to the early 90s and see what happened the draw after. My point is, there are patterns, its usually in sets of 3s. Attached is

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
It was indeed a good increase even after they paid out 9M on the second prize only.
3 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a second prize win: 1 from Georgia, 1 from New Jersey, and 1 from Washington
I think more people are now getting on board, maybe it has gotten to their entry point amount

Annuity or Cash Value
Certainly cash value for me because that is the only *real* number. And, I am not a spring chicken any more...
And, as always, I fervently hope that the guy in Washington D.C. would issue an executive order making a mandatory interest rate of 0.00% for all lottery annuities and removing taxation for all lottery winnings, forever.
That would end all of the foolishness about many people not understanding how the interest rates affect the advertised annuity value vs cash value jackpot amou
