Nice to see they offer one off. Sure miss playing that on Pick 3/Pick 4 here...just saying.

Mississippi Lottery halts Cash 3 triple payout promotion one week in
Stack 47, the last paragraph I don't remember.
However go back I believe pre-pandemic. KY lottery had on pick 3/4 you could add a dollar to the play for the one off option. Notice how quickly that went away along with mechanical balls shortly thereafter? Asked one representative about one off and she said it wasn't popular. Was thinking, 'No it was too popular and folks WERE winning'. We won $5K pick 4 and $600 pick 3 all thanks to that extra dollar.

New Jersey resident says no thanks to road rage, wins $600,000 lottery prize instead
Since the Pick 3 and Pick 4 combined only netted them around $100.00, they must have played them for .50 cents boxed.

EXCLUSIVE: Weeks-long computerized draw error prevented many DC Lottery tickets from winning a prize
Certain combinations had no chance of winning for three weeks
By Kate Northrop
Following independent observations by Lottery Post members of an unlikely statistical anomaly in Washington, D.C. draw outcomes, the DC Lottery identified a software problem that meant certain combinations had no shot at winning prizes in three games.
The DC Lottery has implemented a fix for a coding error that prevented some tickets from winning in three of its local draw games for three weeks.

DC Lottery offers several pathways for remediation after programming error caused untold tickets to lose out
By Kate Northrop
After Lottery Post alerted the DC Lottery to a possible error that prevented tickets from winning in three of its local draw games for weeks, the DC Lottery has announced several different forms of compensation for players who may have been impacted by the computerized drawing glitch.
Last week, Lottery Post reached out to the DC Lottery after Lottery Post mem

Michigan Lottery announces Bonus Draws Daily 4 promotion
Of course you don't have any proof. That's because what you wrote is false.
Paying you 20% more on a winning ticket does not make the game harder to win when they're not changing the numbers matrix. You pick 4 numbers, with some type of bet (straight, boxed, etc.), and they pick 4 numbers. A match wins whatever amount, plus 20% in the promotion. Your chances of winning are the same.

Oooh...you noticing those daily games too.
I thought I was the only one seeing those anomolies in the games here in Ontario.
Surprise, surprise. Glad you're seeing it too!
Quick back story: I do a lot of paper betting and practicing for the Pick 2 games. Decided to do a back testing w/o tracking to see how often double digits (ex 11 55 88) hit over a specific period of time vs single digit pairs.
And to my surprise/not surprise, for a consecutive 40 draws - 20 days [March 11,

Illinois Lottery shells out $7.1 million after players win big with 7-7-7-7
Huge payday for Illinois lottery players across the state
By Kate Northrop
Thousands of Illinois lottery players won big when their Pick 4 game drew the combination 7-7-7-7, with more than $7 million in winnings paid out across the state.
The Illinois Lottery announced last week that it tallied up $7.1 million in winnings from a single Pick 4 drawing.
It's because the midday drawing on Sunday, May 3 produced the number combination 7-7-7-7, with Fireball number 6.
It resulted

Millionaire for Life multi-state lottery game to replace Cash4Life and Lucky for Life in February
I always played the Cash 4 Life for $2.00 and liked it, but never won much with it. I won way more through Match 6, and smaller games like Pick 3 and Pick 4. That is the only way I will be playing a $5.00 game mostly, if I have a bunch of other winning tickets. $5.00 is too much to lose, and for $10.00 you only get two tickets which are almost guaranteed to lose, when you could get 10 other $1.00 tickets instead, or 5 $2.00 tickets.
But the payout is much better at about $750,000 a year, or

Millionaire for Life multi-state lottery game to replace Cash4Life and Lucky for Life in February
Since FL is not jumping on the $5/ticket bandwagon, I guess I'll just have to miss Cash For Life. Just barely missed two 2 second prizes in Dec 2024. Only game that has reasonable odds to win enough money to be comfortable for a long time.
I wouldn't be able to afford the $25 a draw to pick a set of numbers everyday and cover all the Cash Balls like I can do for $8 now, so I might have only played one ticket 3 or 4 times a week.
HOWEVER...they could raise the jackpot as they have and le
