New Millionaire for Life multi-state game coming in 2026
Lucky For Life always looked janky to me for its joke of a second prize and needed an overhaul. Cash for Life is the best game going- if it's your lucky day and you pick the first 5 balls correctly, for $8 you can run the table with all four cash balls. For $20 you can clean out the maximum prize pool (read the official rules) which is $14,000,000/draw. And they're adding another cash ball and raising the price to $5???. So much for running the table. And goodbye, Millionaire for Life...stick yo

$1.7 BILLION: Powerball jackpot juggernaut keeps rolling
Unfortunately we playing each draw with our group and they all definitely made a commitment not to drop out or you can't get back in and we only increase it to $10 when it crosses a billion but playing $5 a ticket for years together every drawing regardless if it $20 million or 900 million. All 80 of us been at it for 15 years so I guess you can start to understand everyone conspiracy thoughts. I don't run the lottery pool I just contribute my $5 or $10 each draw. The most we ever won has been $

$1.7 BILLION: Powerball jackpot juggernaut keeps rolling
80 people in your lottery group at work. I am sure a lot of work is not being done there. No business owner or boss should even allow lottery pools at work. Are you the organizer of it. I bet you spend at least 4 hours a day on this pool nonsense. If you win 80 people are going to get 7,900,000.00 each before taxes. What will 1 show up to work there the next day. The business will go under. Never mind the non production that goes in there when everyone is all hyped up over Power Ball. It would d

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
Someone Above said if someone in Uk wins the lottery they can take the money and run away and not pay complete Federal tax later. And am thinking Now how can you run away in the first place when they gave you no Lump sum option only annuity. If you run away they freezes the rest of your Annuity Payments
Ok when people win Powerball the top tax is like 37 percent. There are two ways to pay federal government. One way is the player pays 37 percent and the other way is l guess each sold t

Millionaire for Life multi-state lottery game to replace Cash4Life and Lucky for Life in February
I also believe that while multiple winners of the jackpot in the same drawing is definitely possible, that that's an outlier. It could happen but it very likely won't. And state lottery's know that. My guess is that they have it covered in the Official Rules, but they aren't thinking they'll have to resort using to that rule.
I play PB for a second prize win and I buy the PowerPlay option. I play the exact same line five times on my ticket. If I matched the first five numbers, but not the P

Arizona Lottery bans Fast Play bulk ticket purchases
9 out of 36 Fast Games show a progressive jackpot. And for whatever reason, the jackpot estimate shows up now when I visited the arizonalottery.com website. Go figure.
My main points were
Anti-buyout rules make more sense for Pick6 and Fantasy5, where the player picks the numbers and so can guarantee a buyout of all possibilities. Currently, AZ has no such anti-buyout rules for Pick6 and Fantasy5. So, AZ is highly inconsistent with their anti-buyout rules. They should have rolled out an

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
Man, I could write a book on this one. So I'll keep it brief...
How do you expect the prize pool to grow faster when you're adding 20% more players ??? (Not really- see next item.)
UK players will reject this based on the ticket cost and taxable (US portion) jackpots.
This is just a test market to see if Powerball can sell a $5+ ticket ( 4= $5.44 US). Why in your own back yard when you can do it in someone else's?
MegaMillions is paying the price of greed and Powerball is next.

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
United Kingdom lottery players will soon participate for massive billion-dollar jackpots
By Kate Northrop
The Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) and the UK National Lottery have jointly announced that the US-based Powerball multi-state lottery game will be expanding to the UK.
It's official: Powerball is growing beyond North America into the United Kingdom, where lottery players overseas will soon have the opportunity to play for the billion-dollar jackpots that only US lottery p

Canadian man charged with theft, fraud after claiming $1M lottery prize meant for three winners
You raised some interesting views there my friend but I think claiming a prize from off of the winnings of the Encore play and not saying a word to his fellow participants imho is just str88 up greed. Plain and simple!
Now at his age and stage in life look at all the drama and publicity he has put himself through for a lousy third of the prize pool. What I'm wondering is whether or not his friends had a copy of the original ticket with the encore number printed on it and they not noticing t
