You are so correct about Mega Millions. Powerball seems to build up faster vs. that measly $10 million more for MM between drawings. KY lottery still has a promotion that if you buy $10 MM on one ticket, you get a free $2 Powerball. It ends when MM reaches $300 million. Asked the clerk yesterday about the Powerball ticket sitting way back there. She said it is $17 with PP/PB for a few draws. Said person probably forget about it. She came home with me for safekeeping!

The real analysis is how fast the jackpot grows. My analysis was about the odds of winning which has absolutely nothing to do with the growth in the jackpot. That is the REAL analysis. Your point is valid. It just has nothing to do with what I wrote. Everyone here else is commenting on the higher $5.00 price and its behavior on their buying a ticket. Headache somewhat gone so reread the article. Totally missed the million dollars/life sentence. My understanding is the LFL from CT is RNG, while C4L from NJ is still mechanical ball drawings, correct?
