New lottery number experiment pays off for North Carolina woman with $212,371 Cash 5 jackpot
Congrats to Dorothy on that sweet $212k Cash 5 hit, proof that shaking up your method can click on the first go, even if it's pure luck at 1 in 962,598 odds. Whatever her new approach was, blending 2-3 odds with evens and spreading across groups like 1-10, 11-20, etc., pops up in over 90% of draws historically, so it's worth tweaking if you're in a rut. Sticking to sums averaging 10-34 keeps combos realistic too, unlike all-low or sky-high shots that rarely land.

Florida Lottery winner featured on TV show
Appeared on 'The Lottery Changed My Life' Thursday Richard Lustig faced a stack of medical bills after his son was born in 1992. At the same time, his house in South Florida had a leaky roof. Fletcher, the Kentucky Lottery Corp. received a letter from one of the angry educators. The letter underscored another, much older controversy surrounding education funding. Arkansas lottery players now can buy tickets with debit cards
Starting this summer, retailers selling tickets for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery will be authorized to accept payment by debit cards, thanks to a new law that zipped through the Legislature in 23 days with little fanfare. Since the lottery started selling tickets on Sept. 28, 2009, the law allowed only cash to be used in transactions. Now Arkansas will join most other state lotteries by allowing debit-card use. Senate Bill 617 sponsored by Sen. Trent Garner, R-El Dorado is now Act 876
