Mega Millions confirms ticket price increase to $5, other changes coming April 2025
That's inflation for ya! At any rate they should take away the 70 ball also for more second prizes. I won't be playing unless I'm in an anonymous state and the jackpot is super high. I'm plugging away on different games right now as I have already all but quit Mega because nobody wins. Speaking of changing games Michigan has 3 dead draw games including our 6/xx game which hasn't been changed in coming on 20 years.... I'll post a thread on that on another forum...

80-year-old Michigan man wins $300,000 in lottery one week after switching to scratch-off games
Actually, I have considered switching to scratch tix. A couple things that keep me from changing are I think Texas scratch tix are rather weak considering the top prizes for the odds and cost of the games compared to other states like Florida. Also, Texas is a BIG state. If a particular game only has say 4 top prizes, there's a lot of territory those 4 top prizes can be hiding. Even a game with 10 top prizes (which is unusual) has a lot of places to hide.

Texas Lottery says NJ group tried to buy another Lotto Texas jackpot
Oh, you mean changing the game to cap the jackpot. You might as well cancel the game at that point, because the newsflash is that lotto-style games make their profits (like in all gambling) during the peak times. If you delete the peaks, you delete the profits. By peak times, I mean situations that convince non-regulars to buy a ticket. They don't do that unless the jackpot is through the roof. Lotteries were created as a way to fund state programs. If they fail to do that, they won't ex

Michigan Lottery announces Bonus Draws Daily 4 promotion
The systems that I have used before the promotions get me hits. However, whenever there's any promotions on the game; they continue to fail. It could be due to them changing out the ball machines more frequently. A year or two ago, when they had the red add-on, I did not win once the entire month. The months prior, I was getting some wins.

Oregon Lottery launches modern remix of first-ever ticket to celebrate 40th anniversary
True, but the odds of winning the top prize are far better than the $30 to win $3 million in other games. I would play this game because the top prize is almost life-changing (as opposed to $1,000 which is not) with really good odds, 1 in 15,770.

$1.8 billion Powerball jackpot won by a single lottery ticket sold in Arkansas
Congratulations to the winner. I hope they do amazing things with the opportunity they have been blessed with. On a side note, I think the MUSL does a poor job of marketing the game as they really don't want people to play and or win often. Especially at low levels. 20M dollars (9.2M cash) is also life changing money. Anyone who wins that could take the cash, literally do NOTHING but invest in basic treasuries and still earn 17k dollars a month in perpetuity. Imagine spending 17k dollars and it

Michigan Lottery announces Bonus Draws Daily 4 promotion
Of course you don't have any proof. That's because what you wrote is false. Paying you 20% more on a winning ticket does not make the game harder to win when they're not changing the numbers matrix. You pick 4 numbers, with some type of bet (straight, boxed, etc.), and they pick 4 numbers. A match wins whatever amount, plus 20% in the promotion. Your chances of winning are the same.
