New Jersey Pick 6 jackpot-winning ticket worth $5.9 million expiring in three weeks
Ticket expires May 22 at the Eisenhower Exxon in Roseland, Essex County - winning numbers 20-21-30-31-42-44 from that May 22, 2025, drawing. There's also a $50k Powerball from the same day unclaimed at D'Latinos in West New York, so double the urgency for NJ players to dig out old tickets. Hate seeing these roll back into the prize pool, especially with the app making checks so easy now.

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
After reading the article a few more times very carefully here is what I get from the article:
Everything in the article above the following section is yadda, yadda, yadda from the PB Lottery until some solid information (maybe subject to change?) comes along.
US state lotteries and the UK National Lottery will pool funds only for the Powerball jackpot, not lower-tier prizes. Tickets purchased in the UK will contribute the same fixed US dollar amount per play to the jackpot pool as ticke

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
Someone Above said if someone in Uk wins the lottery they can take the money and run away and not pay complete Federal tax later. And am thinking Now how can you run away in the first place when they gave you no Lump sum option only annuity. If you run away they freezes the rest of your Annuity Payments
Ok when people win Powerball the top tax is like 37 percent. There are two ways to pay federal government. One way is the player pays 37 percent and the other way is l guess each sold t

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
Man, I could write a book on this one. So I'll keep it brief...
How do you expect the prize pool to grow faster when you're adding 20% more players ??? (Not really- see next item.)
UK players will reject this based on the ticket cost and taxable (US portion) jackpots.
This is just a test market to see if Powerball can sell a $5+ ticket ( 4= $5.44 US). Why in your own back yard when you can do it in someone else's?
MegaMillions is paying the price of greed and Powerball is next.

United Kingdom lottery players will soon participate for massive billion-dollar jackpots
By Kate Northrop
The Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) and the UK National Lottery have jointly announced that the US-based Powerball multi-state lottery game will be expanding to the UK.
It's official: Powerball is growing beyond North America into the United Kingdom, where lottery players overseas will soon have the opportunity to play for the billion-dollar jackpots that only US lottery p

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
I just Ask My Ai two important questions. Question number one How many Americans currently live in the UK and Australia . And question number two how many Americans visit Uk and Australia per year. The reason l ask that is because while you may think Uk residents are the ones to buy Powerball there you may be shocked to find out Americans are the ones buying in Uk and Australia .
My Ai answer
How many Americans are currently living in uk and how many Americans are currently liv

EXCLUSIVE: Weeks-long computerized draw error prevented many DC Lottery tickets from winning a prize
Oooh...you noticing those daily games too.
I thought I was the only one seeing those anomolies in the games here in Ontario.
Surprise, surprise. Glad you're seeing it too!
Quick back story: I do a lot of paper betting and practicing for the Pick 2 games. Decided to do a back testing w/o tracking to see how often double digits (ex 11 55 88) hit over a specific period of time vs single digit pairs.
And to my surprise/not surprise, for a consecutive 40 draws - 20 days [March 11,

Arizona Lottery delays expiration date of $12.8 million jackpot-winning ticket in legal battle
Evidently it must have been against company policy for employees to purchase rejected tickets
The stories I've seen have said the policy is that employees can't buy (any) lottery tickets at the store they work at , not just while they're working. There's also the whole deception angle of attempting to buy the ticket in the hopes that the company didn't yet know they owned a ticket worth far more than face value. I don't see any way that it was a lawful sale/purchase.
Unprecedented move

American money going to foreign citizens.
The article points out that According to MUSL, more than half of every $2 Powerball ticket stays in the jurisdiction where it is sold . That the state's share of the ticket price and all of the non-jackpot prizes that are paid by the state to somebody who bought a ticket in that state (roughly another 16% of the ticket price) stays in the state should be a no-brainer. With all of the states that offer PB, varying populations, and the small number of
