An office pool consisting of eight company employees from Kentucky are splitting a $200,000 Powerball lottery prize.

If you ever run a pool you make copies of the tickets and hand out the copies to the participants before the drawing. That way it avoids any problems if someone wins with a ticket that they bought for themselves outside of the pool.

New Jersey Pick 6 jackpot-winning ticket worth $5.9 million expiring in three weeks
Ticket expires May 22 at the Eisenhower Exxon in Roseland, Essex County - winning numbers 20-21-30-31-42-44 from that May 22, 2025, drawing. There's also a $50k Powerball from the same day unclaimed at D'Latinos in West New York, so double the urgency for NJ players to dig out old tickets. Hate seeing these roll back into the prize pool, especially with the app making checks so easy now.

Arizona lottery retailer employee sued after buying $12.8 million ticket knowing it was a winner
$85 worth of tickets is a lot. it's weird for someone to try to buy that much, then look in their wallet and see they only have $60, then spend every last dollar on tickets. i wonder if it was someone buying for their lottery pool and miscalculated how much they had collected from the other members. if not, sounds like a gambling problem.

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
After reading the article a few more times very carefully here is what I get from the article:
Everything in the article above the following section is yadda, yadda, yadda from the PB Lottery until some solid information (maybe subject to change?) comes along.
US state lotteries and the UK National Lottery will pool funds only for the Powerball jackpot, not lower-tier prizes. Tickets purchased in the UK will contribute the same fixed US dollar amount per play to the jackpot pool as ticke

Millionaire for Life multi-state lottery game to replace Cash4Life and Lucky for Life in February
I have to believe that buried somewhere in the Official Rules for Millionaire 4 Life there is a statement that states if more than a specified number of players win the top prize in the same drawing, and the prize pool cant cover the amount required to pay them all the advertised top prize, then it will be come parimutuel. Or something like that...
My question is where are the Official Rules for the game published? G5
