If prayers worked there wouldn't be so many people dying every year especially school kids. So keep your prayers and fake concerns to yourself. You're the one who chose to chime in quoting a vile human trying to defend your religion not me. So perhaps take your own advice and pray for more compassion for yourself. If I was abandoned I'd have looked into religion for a sense of belonging. I'm doing just fine on my own.

To all the religious loons downvoting my post above just confirms the general consensus that atheism is better for humanity. If you can't even bear to hear the fact that something good happening to a good person is anything but god given, you're delusional. A religion that forbids questioning breeds fear and ignorance.
