Looking the mathematic formula or a good program summing
John,
You perfectly right when writing about the to numberous possibilities about sums , particulary with a game that has 70 numbers in its field. So like any lottery game you have to see the best pattern to increase your odds. So why i do bet mostly not exceeding 6 numbers which worth 1,000.$ for a perfect match 6/6 or 25.$ for a 5/6 , still not bad to refund oftently what you spend in tickets, my average being 5 tickets a day. Here the cost is 1.$ by play and a coupon afford you to play

Testing wheel 9,6,5,5
You cannot evaluate which wheel is better that way.A rule of thumb suggests that we try to minimize our costs (reduce total tickets) and retain high hit ratios. Obviously both wheels will offer 100% hit on 5if5 condition but what are the % rates for higher divisions? We expect a 34 ticket wheel will offer a bit higher hit rates but at the same time we increase our overall cost. 99% of the time, this analogy is worse compared to the world record wheel. However, a case that BobP suggests and shoul

How do I prove my state lottery's CGNs are fixed?
Also, clarification on a point made at the end of the post. ...possibly increase the deficiencies... means the difference between the high frequency and low frequency would increase, not the number frequencies themselves.

Perhaps you're not using enough history. Try to increase history until you get numbers higher than zero.

649 formula
Errata.... I wrote: ``Empirically, among the past 827 drawings, there have been 4095 unique quads and 20 quads that appeared twice -- 4135 in all (= 827*5). So the current probability of a duplicate quad is 20-in-4135 (0.48%).``
That conclusion is not right. And I see I failed to correct a typo in one place. There's an excuse for that .
First, C(56,4) is 367,290. Second, in the first 827 drawings, there are no drawings with more than 1 duplicate quad -- that is, a 4-tuple that appears in

Mathematics and the Lottery
You said so yourself, only a few managed to show a profit. Let's say 250 out of 25,000 or 1%. Run it again, go another 5 years, and only 2.5 survive this time. We'll say it's 3.
A few is 0.1% of all wagers the lottery expects to lose. Had the winnings been equally distributed, each player lost 50% of their total bet. Because the rules of the simulation required each player to continue wagering $5 to win $500 regardless of how much they had lost, some players continued to lose and lost more
