I normally don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but I've noticed something about FF5 that I think I ought to share. Total dollar jackpot amounts are at an all time low. Weekday jackpots are running at about $110,000 while Saturday jackpots are about $125,000. (Saturday is FF5's big day) For whatever reason, the most FF5 tickets are sold on Saturdays which causes higher jackpot amounts. Because of this I've been considering buying FF5 tickets in a different way. I usually buy tickets

Last nights winning numbers ===== 5 6 23 31 32 Now there are 2 numbers yet to be drawn in July ===== 21 30 Well there's #5. Did you play it??? There aint anybody else here besides me so I dont know why I asked. Probably nobody who comes here played it, and besides that, there was not a jackpot winner anyway. There was another rolldown. That's the 12th rolldown of the 18 drawings held to date in July. This forum is indicative of what's happened all across Floria with FF5. There were 60 FF

What's earnings value ? Never heard that term used when discussing or reading about the lottery. Are you talking about earnings value from a players perspective or the lottery's perspective as it relates to running their business? Reduced jackpots are a direct result of reduced ticket sales. It's very hard for me to see how the Fla Lottery gets higher earnings value when they aren't selling as many FF5 tickets as they used to. G5

Thank you for all of that math! I don't play PB or MM very often. The odds just boggle my mind, but I've been wondering lately what makes the most sense. Am I kind of wasting money chasing small jackpots? A F5 win would help my immediate life, but it's not life changing. Isn't that what most people are after? So, my first step will go back to playing JTP when it's at least a million. I'm thinking of dropping F5 and JTP at some point and just sticking with the bigger games. 2025.....

I think you're correct and I too think it backfired on them big time. To me the obvious question becomes (provided they want to make as money off the game as they used to) So why not return to one evening draw per day??? These days, if there is one winner in each drawing on any given day, both jackpots total to approximately $155,000 to $160,000. Prior to adding the midday draw, the lone evening drawing produced a $200,000 jackpot. (If just one winner) That can only mean one thing, and that

Right... FF5 is the best bet among Fla online games. That's why I play it. When the lottery added the midday drawing ticket sales immediately went way down. That can be attributed to just one thing - player reaction by voting with their dollars and walking away from the game. Added to that that, these days, people are feeling the effects of higher prices on many things (inflation) and probably have cut back on lottery spending as a result. IMHO even if inflation is coming down, and pla

Couldn't agree more if I had to. The thing I can't understand is how did The Florida Lottery benefit from adding a midday drawing? They said they were doing it for the players, but that's pure BS. No business does anything without something in it for themselves. I seriously doubt they saw an uptick in the amount of money they were taking in by adding the midday drawing. If anything, I think some players stopped playing Fantasy5 because of the hit to the size of jackpots. IMHO that lowers th

So how about a quick life lesson here? Who am I to talk ,just an older man who's ready to retire after 40 years doing the same job but these numbers keep me occupied on so many mornings even on my vacation I get up,I get a coffee and I come to the park for an hour, what a great place to figure out some numbers of course it's keeping the mind active always trying to figure out an angle and I've been doing it for years and like I said if you know me and my style of playing the game , it has kept m

Here's something wild... An evening jackpot of $62,406 was won on 6/21/24 at Publix #0820 located on Sheridan Street in Hollywood Florida with player picked numbers. A midday jackpot of $58,877 was won on 6/22/24 at Publix #0820 located on Sheridan Street in Hollywood Florida with a QP. Back to back FF5 jackpots won at the same retailer!! How crazy is that?? G5

I realize that from a FF5 players perspective going to two draws per day flat out stinks, and that me posting all of the hidden benefits for the Florida Lottery doesn't make it any better for players. However there is one more thing I'd like to say and then I'll stop my long winded rants. I think in 2020 (not sure if that's the correct year or not, but if it's not 2020 then it's close to 2020) The New York Lottery implemented two drawings per day for their Pick5 game, Take5. Take5 is close t
