Release of winning numbers
Does anyone know why New York's Take Five numbers aren't released for a long time after each drawing? Other drawings are shared with the public immediately. Hiding the numbers can't help the credibility of the drawing, can it? Anyone know of other lotteries with long delays? Should I stop playing it?

Don't hold your breath waiting for SmartLuck to respond back to you Mink. Just as Tique did, I contacted them last year when I first saw the missing Take5 drawings. Since Ohio games have fixed payout amounts for every prize except the jackpots and they don't release the total payout amounts, there's no way of telling.

I'm Maryland #997. Gail Howards software is great. The news release is probably true, I haven't investgated it. But you want me to believe that Gail Howard communicates with you privately by email is a little hard to swallow. She doesn't even send out emails to her CUSTOMERS about patch upgrades and the sorts. I thought the people on LP would find this interesting. I'm not sure I can post a link to the Florida Lottery website without violating any rules. Go to the media center on the Florida site and read today's press release. Last night when the numbers were selected, I found it odd that so many people hit a combination like this one. 19-21-23-30-36 When I read the press release today, I realized that one player must have played the same card 5 times since M S Mart in Saint Petersburg is listed 5

well you know how it goes with the holiday schedule. They didn't release the afternoon numbers until 7 PM. I barely had any time to figure anything out to get my numbers in while we were having Christmas dinner so it was a bit of a rush and I didn't play that. I drifted to some other numbers, but you're correct and saying that I could've played those numbers in my sleep, but I didn't have it last night

G5 - I started tracking winning locations on 12/31/2011 on a daily basis for the major games: T5, P10, NYL, MM, PB, C4L. I also track the 2d tier locations for those with the exceptions of T5 and P10 (but NY Lottery will not release the P10 winner's locations for some reason...even with a FOIL request - which, btw, they do now charge for). Even a polite email to them goes unanswered. I'd send it on over to you if I knew how... Peace.

ha..ha.. One thing that I'm starting to release is that cold numbers are not the way to go in the short term. You would think because a number has drawn in the last 10 draw it would be ripe, but that's not the case. The 0,3,6,9 works and we saw yesterday (13-15-20-26-36). That 20 repeated but there was no 3,6,9 so I think tonight we should see 2 fall. Let's see.
