Someone left their quick pick in the ticket vending machine and you took the ticket? Or you looked at a quick pick left in the vending machine and then bought your own ticket playing the same numbers as the quick pick?

It reminds me of a story from about 20 years ago where 2 friends would play the same numbers together. One would buy a quick pick then the other would play the same numbers on a playslip at the same store. They finally hit on little lotto (now lucky day lotto) for $150,000 splitting for 75,000 each.
