I always scan my losing tickets as well. I found a $500 winner on the $1M for Life ticket. Same thing, just missed a matching number. Hopefully I can win something big worth posting.

Thanks Gator ! First scratch was upper top left showing $500 ..... was ready to strap on my seat belt thinking I hit the jackpot ...... but 5K is nothing to sneeze at .. ah choo ('scuse me)
What amazes me is that other previous ticket planning buys, as in what store, how many , should I buy from different stores and so forth didn't mean squat ... buying one at a gas station 20 miles from me produced a decent win .....just luck ...

I've run across the same situation with winning tickets - we cashed so many checks today you'll have to come back later - and many other reasons they don't have the cash for your win(s) ...... when I get lucky and have a wad to cash I call the service desk at the Publix I always go to - I know the clerks by name and they know me - I say I have 2300 worth of wins, can you cas
