CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I would be interested to hear what the lottery officals would have to say about clerks holding games for certian players. To me that is a seller working with a buyer to increase there odds and i wouldnt be suprized if there is agreement with the buyer and seller to split certian winnings if they hold a game for them to purchase. Call the Lotto police, they will look into it.

Post your scratch ticket results
Good job Lucki!! I am in agreement with the second chance tics. I rethink they are bad news. I will buy a few but not wasting tons off money. Is Price Is Right the only ticket coming out tomorrow?

Played through $20 Florida Millionaire's Club roll today
Great story James1! I have asked everyone I know to try to get someone to split the costs so any losses are kept down, that way I can get more tickets and chances to win and we split the wins. I would definately throw something in writing on an agreement. It was funny to hear your story because that same day, I was in my favorite store, had 60.00 to spend but wasn't sure what on. A guy came in and out of 6 tickets, he must have won on 5 of those. He would buy one at a time, first a 20.00 win, ge

Disgruntled Lottery Employees Tell Everything!
I didn't know that. I thought an oath was when you swore to uphold the constitution in the case of a member of Congress, other elected officials, and Military personnel. You can testify under oath in a criminal trial, but I do not see how an employee of a company could take an oath. I did not know that these employees put their hands on their Bible, and raised their right hand while swearing under oath that they would not reveal any secrets. I think it is more likely a non-disclosure agreemen

Do people have more luck just buying one scratch ticket at a time as opposed to buying 2 or more?
Hi Jab5, Sorry to hear that buying five $2 scratch tix did not give you a win. I feel your pain. It's so random where the good tickets are. One would think buying that many scratch tickets at a time would provide you a winner but it's not always the case. I'm in agreement with you about the fact that there doesn't seem to be a strategy when it comes to scratch offs just random luck.

Looking for scratch players from TN
Nice! It's cool to hear of a great win like that.Congrats on the 500 and being 'up' lol.you sound like me-- already have the Vegas trip planned once the big win comes in :) (I'll return to Vegas in 13 days, so my time is running out for the TN Lottery to be good to me!)I have to ask, do you and your lottery friends already have the agreement on who will take the tax hit in the event you win more than $600?I had the super rare opportunity to win $1000 earlier this year on , yep, you guessed it, G

Scratch Offs Not Being Paid
Good you reported that to Lottery HQ. It is spelled out in their retailer agreement which the store signed that they should have given cash for a true cash winner. Either the clerk was not aware of this or the store does this to sell more tickets. Most state lottery offices would followup with the store and although a single instance of this type would not get their lottery authorization yanked, continued incidents would. The lottery does track compaints such as yours so a store that gets enough

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Morning all. I played 2 $30 Gold Rush #25, and 000 as well as two Yellow LFL yesterday (#28 and #15). I also had a $10 Monopoly Jackpot on 000. I lost on every single ticket ,so that's $110 donated to Florida Bright Futures. These types of returns keeps me from playing for the most part these days since I'd rather put money in the stock market. The yellow LFL was found in a Wawa, and 7-Eleven. Like many others in this group, I was able to find it very easily in major retailers in Orlando

PISSED and that is putting it mildly
If this is a case where the scratch coating on the ticket can't be scratched off without ruining the information underneath, these would be considered defective tickets. If you can locate your state's lottery rules, it will probably say something to the effect that the lottery's liability for defective tickets is only to refund the purchase ticket price. If someone was able to scratch off just the barcode or validation number, then the ticket could be checked for a winner. Otherwise, they

Funny Scratch off tip story.
You're spot on LONERANGER ! Why tip a person who hands you a ticket you just bought with your own money ? They had nothing to do with the prize if any that's there. If you bought it from the machine then who do you tip ? Now, if a clerk give you some hot skinny - like buy that ticket there - one guy just went through 10 duds and the next should be a winner. Then and only then would I give him/her a tip if it's a winner. SO why not have an agreement - if the ticket you said is good is a dud, t
