New tickets came out yesterday here in Mass. Was thrilled to see they brought back the Gold/Silver/Platinum $5 game. Hit for 10K in 2012 when it was Gold/Silver/Platinum 7''s . This time they went with 8's . Not nearly 10K but a nice reminder as to why I like this game. Good luck to all who put in the effort to find that life-changing ticket.

As always, thank you again Cape for running the numbers on the new game. Other than the $500 prize tier, the $1M prize looks terrible by comparison to current games. In addition to not changing the game name, the Florida lotto is not showing any creativity with this new $50 ticket. I suspect they'll pull the current 500X off the shelf now which may jeopardize that last $25M prize from being claimed. This feels like a trick out of the Illinois lottery play book.

Georgia has a $20 game with odds of 1 in 720k at winning $2 million. The odds of hitting $7k is also 1 in 14.4k on this game. Yes, the odds at hitting the low tier prizes suck, but who here would be interested in playing a game like this in Florida? Imagine if Florida decided to make a game like this at the $20-$30 price tier with great odds of hitting $1M-$2M. They probably could have made the $30 game have odds of 1 in 500k at hitting $2M, or something like 1 in 250k-300k at hitting $1M if the

Welcome back 100X.....I am coming out of a long break from scratch-offs and starting up again for this game. I really hope this time around all the major prizes are found and claimed before the lottery decides to pull the plug and end the game. I have some bitter memories of the way the old 100X game ended with so many life changing prizes never claimed and I am sure many out there can relate and share in the frustration. Georgia Lottery News - Top prize sales - Are the odds changing?
It looks like we have had a few more top prize winners, but some games never seem to change. It appears that the game Big Win has had 2 $50,000 top prize winners turned in in the last three weeks. There was also 2 $35,000 top prize winners of Cashword 3. PIECES OF 8 sold the last 2 of the top $8,800 prizes, so that game should end soon, as all of the top prizes have been claimed. QUICK $100 has a top prize of $100, and has 38229 of 41043 top prizes claimed. 539 were claimed in this time period.

Have to agree with you. The Scratchers 2nd Chance end of game jackpot is a life changing amount, at least the biggest ones (I'm thinking $750K or bigger). Losing the chance (albeit a small chance) of wining that pot of gold at end of the rainbow is a bit of a downer. Even winning 2 100K jackpots is not the same. I enter every ticket. I think it is a cool gesture and shows the type of character Jackpotchasing is. Most people wouldn't even think to consider doing anything for strangers after hitting a large win. I don't consider you all strangers although I know some of you better than others; I consider many of you to be friends of mine just as I would consider someone I talk to in real life. In fact, I think I currently hold the record for meeting the most LP posters in real life as I've met about 7 people from this forum IR

Hi MsBee18, great observation!!...but truth be told 4/5 of the $15M GR Special Edition wins have come from S Florida. Even so going from 6 major prizes to 4 in the new game is a step down. It's one thing if they took all the difference and pushed it into better mid range prize odds, but that's only happened to a limited extent. Bottom line is payout of the game goes from 80% in the old $30 game down to 77% in the new one...BUT, it's pretty clear that at least some of the difference is being push

I agree with there being no prospect of a life changing sum. The people who play this game are looking to gamble with $10 and multiply it fast (usually buying 1-2). The 1/1,000 odds of winning $500 is still kind of meh , but including it offers some excitement. Hitting that could be a car payment, or food for a month for some people. Buying into a roll of this game is almost guaranteeing going negative though, based on how it is designed. I think this will be one of FL Lottery's

@ Adam - You are the chosen one. Winning one jackpot, especially the $10 holiday gifts which was 90%+ sold through with 2/2 jackpots remaining made seemed reasonable since the actual odds were better than the published odds at that point in the game. But, with your $100k win on GRD, and recent $1M win on the World Class Cash game means you are literally the chosen one. Such an incredible story considering there are 15,000 + retailers, millions of tickets, and only a handful of life changing tick
