From Sarasota I sent my $1K win to Ft Myers and the turnaround has always been very quick. Found out today that scratch prizes tickets are now being forwarded to Tallahassee which will extend receiving my check about another four to six weeks as I was told by a supervisor in Tallahassee ........ I asked when this change was made and the first agent said about 2 months ago, I asked for a supervisor and he said 4 or 5 months ago. As always, thank you again Cape for running the numbers on the new game. Other than the $500 prize tier, the $1M prize looks terrible by comparison to current games. In addition to not changing the game name, the Florida lotto is not showing any creativity with this new $50 ticket. I suspect they'll pull the current 500X off the shelf now which may jeopardize that last $25M prize from being claimed. This feels like a trick out of the Illinois lottery play book.

and another thing - there are 9 district lottery offices in Florida - for what ? To sell tickets ? No there are over 13,000 retailers to do that ......are the 9 district offices there to cash in winning tickets ? Are you serious ?? What else could it be ? Dozens of people clogging up parking spaces, some smoking outside, some waiting inside in cheap chairs for their number to be called ?? What a waste of time .........What is the cost for renting those 9 offices - salaries for all the employees

When a Scratch Off is Ending...
There's a $5 game I play in FL called The Game of Life . It launched in August of 2023. I live in central Florida and it's very hard to find. I only know of two places that have it. They announced it's ending next month despite more than half the prizes remaining, including six of the fourteen top prizes of $500,000. I'm curious, after two years hasn't the Lottery made its money back? Also, when a game is ending do they push out the remaining prizes before the Purchase Before date? I

Hi All, I haven't played in awhile (over a month) as we had some family issues out of state and were away from Florida for awhile. But this Friday I played 1 of the new Green tickets and 1 Orange 500X from the Exxon Station @ Micanopy Exit I-75.
