Amazing Grace I have to disagree with you on this: In my mind yer better off playing pick 3. Pick 3's are an all or nothing affair, unless you're talking front pair / back pair - which jacks up the price of the ticket. If someone is playing a Pick 3 every day and someone else is playing a scratcher everyday, the scratcher player is going to win something eventually- the Pick 3 player may never hit. Yeah, my gambling hobby will gravitate to pick 3 and pick 4 exclusively. Might just start tossing $20 on a front/rear pair. Payout will be $1000 and the odds will only be 1:100 to win it.

Not sure if this will help you, but I will give a suggestion. I'm a compulsive gambler, I can spend a ton of money on BlackJack, Poker, or Scratch Tickets on a whim. The way I can control myself is gamble with a friend or family member. I know this sounds weird, but it usually keeps me in line and not wanting to do stupid things in front of them.
