New Jersey

I wouldn't mind NJ changing it to be exactly like the NY game except for the prize return.I sincerely hope you're wrong. Why the heck would we want a game that's harder to win?? We already have Mega Millions here, we don't need another game with odds that low. I like NJ's game the way they are, except for the Pick 3 pari-mutuel

PA Match 6 - It's a great game
But it's not without flaws. The most glaring is the $2 price. Also, the $500,000 minimum jackpot is probably turning away players. The casual player doesn't notice the fact that it's cash, or that the odds of winning are only 1 in 4,000,000. What I would suggest is up the matrix to 6/59, lower the price to $1, and make the minimum jackpot $1,000,000 cash. The odds would be upped enough that changing the other amounts wouldn't be neccesary.

300 million dollar powerball jackpot
Its not the economy its gambling choices. People have more options how to gamble now and most people dont play until the pot breaks a set amount say 100 or 200 million. News coverage of large pots is also low unless the pot breaks 300. Lottery sales are mostly flat for games like megamillions and powerball and as they add states without changing the game the pot gets smaller and smaller. I really dont think either game is led by people with enough intelligence to change the game to make larger p

Change Mega Millions?
I have always been in favor of changing it since they have added more states but in a more reasonable way like 5/53 + 1/53 making the odds 1 in 152 million instead of 1 in 135 million. I dont think a big change is warranted. If powerball added California for instance they also should change the game to reflect the increase in the amount of players.Sales are what count in a lottery and big jackpots sell. Expecting a big pot for every rollover is wrong but expecting a big pot every 6 to 9 months o

My thoughts on Massachusetts
The Mass Millions game began in 1987 as a 6/46. It was changed to a 6/49 four years later. The only modification to it since was shifting the draw nights.Whether there should have been a Mass Millions to begin with is debatable (rather than changing Megabucks, which was a 6/36 and is now a 6/42.) Massachusetts, if it wanted to keep Mass Millions around this long, should have included a cash option, or perhaps replace both Megabucks and Mass Millions with a single ja

Stay with your numbers
I am also against playing the same numbers for a long period of time. I will at times play the same numbers for 2 or 3 days in row but never longer. In just of terms and hot and cold numbers, you could have number combinations that are all hot or all cold for periods of time and they could stay that way for months at a time. It is very, very, very rare in a game like Powerball or Mega Millions to have all hot numbers drawn and almost never for all cold numbers to be drawn. If you have either of

SC Evening 5-12-2004
NEB....Im working on it lol Posted for Midday so let's see if can do it 2 in a row <G>Cant tell whether there will be a 3/0 or 1/2 split on the LOP's though but appears to be another Sum Total Odd game with a 1 digit repeat. Another thing Im looking at is the 10 digits have been on 7 levels now for 5 games in a row. This should be changing soon and trying to tell whether will go up to 8 or down to 6. If there is a 1/2 split on the LOP's then will collaspe to 6 unless there is a Doubles

Ill Little Lotto
The jackpot hasnt been hit in a while and we now have a huge jackpot. I am not a fan of this game though as it used to be refresing to have a way to go after a 20-60k win a day and have a realistic shot at winning it. Now if you hit four out of five your are really screwed. They should increase that prize to 250 bucks and they would stil have a jackpot at this point that would be over a million. And how bout instead of trying to hoodwink the players by changing the game and leading the playe

How to Pick Hot Pairs
I use hot pairs to form my doubles...you have exposed one of my weakness...I guess I do track them when it come to locating them, I go back 30.- 50 draws and count reoccuring pairs. Sometimes since the lottery is dynamic forever changing...I will look at the last 3 or 4 draws..for the evening game or mid-day game and see how long a hot pair has not showed up. I use them strictly on gut feelings. I am sorry I cannot add anymore to this subject. If I used them today...I would post:454-400-000-500

Questions for Lottery Official
Quote: Originally posted by Todd on February 03, 2004 Are they in any talks with US lotteries about an international game? If so, which states? There was a report that was circulated a couple of years ago about a concept for an international lottery with the US and other countries. It never got past the concept stage. He is not sure why because he was not directly involved. He speculated it could have been a number of reasons (political, currancy differences, taxes, trusting other jurisdictions
