N.C. Senate lottery panel named
I think you're confusing matters: this is a Senate panel to work on the legislation, not a lottery board.

indiana lottery corruption
LosingJeff neglected to mention that, despite the installation of a new lottery director, the remainder of the incumbent crew is largely intact. This includes their programmers, security personnel (mostly retired cops) and other lower-level employees. Also, Governor Mitch Daniels has repeatedly requested the resignations of several state agency heads and officers, including those who serve on the board of directors of the Hoosier Lottery. These people refuse to resign and, by law, cannot be force

New Jersey
CO:I am certainly listening to you! And I agree with you about the lousy percentage that NY allocates to its prize pool. Most of the time, getting these huge lottery organizations to do anything positive for the players is a monumental challenge, mainly because it requires that legislation be passed. In the case of the NY prize pool, I believe that percentage was allocated through legislation, and not just a number that the lottery came up with.Affecting change at the state level is daunting -

US House votes to kill Internet gambling
