Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The cost to join a pool is $20. The number of people in a pool varies a lot depending on the game played. It is not a work pool. Anyone can join. The big difference in the pools I am in compared to work pools, is the payment. There is no weekly or monthly payment. Therefore there is no worry about someone missing a payment and questioning whether they are in or not. With the pools I am in, you pay once to join a pool. Then the pool spends the money plus the money it wins until the pool r

Pick 3 Reduction System with HOLD feature
Hello, I'm curious if there is anyone out there who can make this Pick 3 reduction tool system. What this system would need is an empty pool with a button that would put the 1000 numbers, 000-999 into the pool. 0 - 9 in each 3 positions with checkmark boxes by each number. And then a HOLD feature. Here is an example of the purpose of the HOLD feature. Let's say in the first position I have checkmarked 2 4 and 7, in the 2nd position 4 5 8 and 9 checkmarked and in the 3rd position 2 and 7 checkmar

Salon lottery winners settle dispute
Exactly! Just because you buy tickets in a pool does not mean you can't buy your own tickets or tickets in another pool or even 25 other pools. But the onus of proof is on the pool players to make sure their tickets are clearly specified so there's no confusion. I wouldn't be surprised if most, if not all, of the losers in that pool bought their own tickets too. There almost should be rules in lotteries that say unless there's hard proof that a ticket is in a pool, it's not recognized as a po

Wisconsin Pick 3
I didn't include the 4 because it's not part of the pool, it's part of the base. And yes, there were times when the x came from the base (6 times in august and september) but the x came from the pool 11 times in august and september. so, i was sticking to the most common thing that happens because i don't have the money to play all 4 triads using the pool, the base, and the key in case of a double for 5-7 days. i am going with the first three triads using the pool because that is how they mostly

Dream of swimming pool saving Jason
My dream: The kids wanted to go swimming. I found my swim suit and there was either chocolate or jam on my top. I knew our pool was dirty so we went to a public pool. The pool has a rough bottom with ridges. While swimming I noticed Jason in trouble at bottom of pool. I reached down and he took my hand. Then the bottom of pool was smooth in spots.

New Powerball / Mega Millions Survey
It seems pretty clear that it's an actual pool, and that's why the numbers have to be QP's. In theory it could work without actually selling 10 identical tickets, and in the event that a partial pool won the jackpot the remainder would roll over to the next drawing. In reality I can't imagine that it would be done that way, and there's no reason to do so. Overall ticket sales may not be a multiple of 10, bt they can easily sell pool tickest in sets of 10 by simply stopping pool sales a bit befor

Man quits lottery pool, then wins with Quick Pick
I onced belonged to a Lottery Pool of 10. I liked being in a pool because you played with everyone's money, not just your own. We had 2 designated people that we wanted to buy and distribute the copies of tickets. Our problem was, the nay sayers! OMG too much negativity brings negative vibes and we really didn't win anything. We chose half and half (QP and self picks). We did this for about a year and I was the first to break camp b/c of all the negativity. Some members couldn't afford to play f

Ontario lottery to investigate 'suspicious' $24.5M win
There have been quite a few slogans that have become popular in our time like, NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE, or JUST SAY NO TO... Well, I put a lottery spin on them that goes like this: LOTTERY POOL, NO PEACE and JUST SAY NO TO LOTTERY POOLS. I see the appeal of lottery pools...the average Joe or Jane figures he or she could just throw in a couple bucks in several different pools, thereby imperceptably but psychologically increasing their chances of winning the big jackpot. But that is where the sch

Texas Woman Sues Over Winning Lottery Ticket
That's the old scam of coming up with money to join a lottery pool after it wins. A person who wanted to play in the winning lottery pool always has an excuse for not actually paying to be in the pool and think that excuse should entitle them to share the winnings. Wishing you had paid and actually paying to join a lottery pool are not the same win or lose. Before I retired, I had co-workers who always said they wish had extra money to join the lottery pool and was relieved they didn't wh
