Ticket Checkers
I will use them occasionally to double-check a ticket. They are nice to have, especially in light of the expos on Lottery Clerk fraud they keep showing on Dateline NBC.
But I myself would never run into that situation they pose in the sting operations. I always know what the value of my ticket is before cashing it in. And the calottery.com replay entry is a good double check in addition to your own. I also don't play crossword/bingo type games because they take too long to determine if you ar

Ticket Checkers
I think so. Here is PA they took all cheat codes off the tickets. When I am playing Bingos and Crosswords it is nice to confirm my loss. Also I have missed a symbol once cause it looked like another symbol. I had it in my trash pile and also self check them on a scanner before truly throwing them away. My eyes get tired at times also and have missed actual #'s in games. I like them and think they should help cut down on ticket fraud. Dateline NBC did a thing about handing tickets to clerks and p

Lottery ticket frenzy as Euro Millions reaches record high
Go make me some hot chips, Pierre.
How many different identities are you trying to swindle people with today?
Did all of your identities say what a great experience it was being in a lottery pool?
Did all of them recommend by PM sending money out of the country to you? Hmmmm?
You've been exposed as a phony and a fraud and now you're mad at the world about it. Too bad.
But you're still here trying to drum up business without paying for ads because your brokeass can't afford it.

Kentucky store clerks indicted for lottery fraud
If I'm not mistaken, lots of Patels have been nabbed for this kind of fraud. Times are hard but you dont take what does not belong to you.
Everybody was taught that by their mama!

Cheated lottery winner files lawsuit
Did you forget to read the part that the COURTS acknowledge him as the RIGHTFUL BEARER of the TICket? THerefore Mr Willis gets to make claim?
Deception and Fraud are already charges being placed against the Clerk, I believe that bears noting when making your proclamation.

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
ALL software claiming it can make you rich from lottery winnings is a FRAUD!
ALL commercial lottery software that I've ever seen has a disclaimer somewhere that says for entertainment only regardless of the impression you think their advertisements conveys. I think you should assume a similar disclaimer applies to the posts you read at LP too even if the poster doesn't say it.

Do you enjoy scratch offs as a form of entertainment?
I know it's a small risk but it has been reported to have happened before:
If you just give the card blindly to the clerk without knowing the winning value, there is potential for fraud. You could have a $1000 winner but if you don't play through the card and just hand it to the clerk with only barcode scratched, he could say, oh you just won $5 bucks...

Do They Take (SS)FICA & Medicare?
Ok so your saying if i am listed as being 100% physically disabled and they catch me unloading a truck and building a house with cinder blocks. That its ok and i should be able to keep my disability checks.
It's fraud if you get caught.

Do not get burned by this service station!
Sorry, I did not read this post before I responded to your next post. I will respond to it now, part by part, because you bring up a lot of good points.
I can understand how you might feel that the book was not even distributed fairly, but its not always true that a decent winner is at the front/back of the book. For example, I have won $1,000 several times now and every one of them was in the middle of the book range. I have won $500 probably 15-20 times and the majority of them were #'d 10-

Tennessee: 9/1 - 9/30/2010
If everyone one would look at the big picture, the Tennesee Lottery has been running now for 7 years right? 6? whatever the number is....and the payouts are getting smaller all the time.A payout of 15 thousand on midday draw, that should tell you something,,,,either people are not playing or they see what is played and payout the smallest they can and get by with it....This state is the worse in the country....it doesnt matter what system you have or use it does no good here...the big picture is a
