I think if the average jackpots for mega millions and powerball can increase over time than that is a good thing. I do not think that the jackpots will go on record runs every time but once in awhile is better than not at all.

I hope that PB will roll when no ticket wins this Wednesday. That way, the North American jackpot record held by Mega Millions [formerly The Big Game] will be shattered by PB of previous record of 363 million.Everyone, this is a poll question that will last until PB finally hits the jackpot.

I would buy $1 every time for my dad, but mainly I should wait for the big jackpots if I ever play. In the big jackpots, I would buy more tickets for my dad when my dad wants to play.

If you can afford to play and would be happy with a lower jackpot amount, by all means do because there won't be any big jackpots if no one plays when the jackpots are low.

As player find other games with higher jackpots to play, States will have to reduce the minimum starting jackpots and minimum roll over amounts of their games because they will have fewer players. Ohio has been during that with their SuperLottoPlus games and next month they will eliminate the game all together replacing it with a game that has a starting jackpot of $1M.RJOh

the jackpots are getting too high and for people to wait until they reach $100 or $200 mill in my opinion is just assininehow much better for more folks to share smaller jackpots so more of us can compete with the average person.

MM and PB jackpots
I say both MM and PB will eventually reach 363+ million to pass the North American lotto jackpot history. However, I say MM will get there first because PB will have too many small jackpot winners.

I agree missing having winfalls in any lotto games with jackpots. I also agree about jackpots getting lower and lower in certain games such as SLP due to lots of jackpot winners. Why this is your last visit to MA for a while CASH Only?

Jack:Seldom as it happens, in this case I agree with you. No one can call a QP talent. I always agree, in that the reason for the change was profit, not player demands for higher jackpots. Everyone wants higher jackpots, no science there.Would be nice if someone hit today though.
