Newspaper editorial in favor of authentic lottery drawings
Rebecca Hargrove does not have to have every TV station in Tennessee record the live drawings they can have one station record the drawing and have the other stations use a little pop up window and display the drawing numbers. This opens up and opportunity for certain TV stations to bid on whom will record the live drawing. After reviewing the bids she could negotiate a contract with them for x amount of years and at the end of the term run another bidding war.

Powerball & Megamillions Growing
I'd have to agree with that. Another roll will hit the cap and have about 5 million in the bonus pool. Not much. But since Mega is also high there will be less cross traffic from other states. Hard to say since both have never been this high together.
Next stop for Mega would be 245 with a cash pot of 142 million. I'm sure one of them wil get hit on the Friday/Saturday drawings. Odds of both rolling would be unprecedented. Powerball would hit the cap while Mega would be at near record levels

Powerball & Megamillions Growing
I'm certain that some people don't get it. Why did the record increase exactly $25 million from 340 to 365, without offering a $340 million jackpot again?
In February 2006 the record was 340 million, and it rolled from 250 to 300. I'm pretty sure that 300 is less than 340, so at that time the jackpot hadn't exceeded the record. When nobody won the $300 million jackpotthe cap was applied and the jackpot only rolled to $365 million. Either you and a few others have it wrong or MUSL has it wro

The some of fifteen
I love it when someone brings up sums. Check this out guys. Trac your pick 3 sums based on hits in 60 draws. Meaning, keep trac of a rotational flow of 60 draws with the sum counts. I usually do it in excel. Example: Find out the last 60 days worth of sums. Get all the hits on each one. Know, when the next draw comes in, record it but, also record the hit to hit. Meaning, if it has previously been hit 3 times prior then record a 3x-4x hit, on the sum. At the same token remove the 61st draw from

MM jackpot turns out to be $390m
The current Powerball record is $365 million. If the jackpot for the drawing is at $360 and is not won what happens to the jackpot amount for the next drawing?
If the jackpot is at $360 million and rolls, the maximum it will get to is $390 million because the previous record was $365 million. The cap rule says that the jackpot can only roll upto $25 million higher than the previous record.
Even if the jackpot is at $389 million before rolling, it will only be allowed to reach $

Powerball or MegaMillions which will grow to 300+million
The advertised jackpot suggests estimated sales of about $108 million. I think sales will be a bit higher, but the chances for another roll will still be better than 50%, so probability says MM will break 300 on this run.
What is 100% certain is that another roll will mean a US record for the jackpot. PB's fictional $365 million jackpot of a year ago paid about $178 million in cash. If it does roll again, the next MM jackpot will be at least $325 million. The cash payout would set a record

Indiana Lottery sell-off advances in state Senate
For the fisical year ending June 30, 2006, the Hoosier Lottery had record sales of $816 million and a record net income of $218 million.
The state could accept a bid that met a $1 billion minimum as long as the company agreed to continue paying the state $200 million annually, the amount of lottery profits already dedicated to ongoing programs.
Who would pay $1 billion to get a return of only $18 million (based on record sales)?
Isn't that the same as paying $1000 for the use of a l

Powerball lottery jackpot largest in 9 months
I can only hope i was one of the two winners in PA for a ticket. I and all my fellow lottery posters can use the 2nd place prize.
as much as i would love to be the winner next time i would still love to see it reach past the old record. man that would be something. can you imagine one winner winning a pot over 400 million. i know that is not the record but it could be the new record. I would probably pack up the wife and go to middle of spain for about 2 months. get me a satelite set up so

Ga. maintenance man wins Mega Millions lottery jackpot
Exactly. It is not so much what you do, as what you tell everyone you will do. Jackpot paranoia is what feeds many of these so called professional leeches. Some are legitimate, but many look to capitalize off your big win. I would not say anything to anyone until the money was in my bank account. It is just sad that there are so many potential obstacles involved after beating such high odds. It is best to give very little or false information for your own protection at the press conference.

MI Classic Lotto 47 hits record
Well Michigan's Classic Lotto 47 has hit a new record. $7.0 million. This game hasn't been doing to well in this state. We have had the game for well over a year now and this is the highest it has been. This has to have been growing for at least 12 weeks now most likely more. It will be interesting to see if the jackpots grow more after we hit $10 million, that is if we do.
