Playing the lottery on a weekly basis is insane regardless of the jackpot size
Actually, selling furniture correlates with feelings such as irritation, frustration, and aggravation, which has for me worsened to agony, depression, violence, and thoughts of suicide. Gambling, with the hope of winning enough to retire helps relieve all those bad feelings.

$107 million lottery winner turns out to be son of Marriott president
So another Jack Whittaker. I'm not saying he's going to lose it all like Jack did, I'm just saying Jack was also already rich when he won. I remember a doctor featured on The Lottery Changed My Life talking about how she received death treats because she was already wealthy when she won. She said she cannot change what happened. She just happened to be lucky enough to have the winning ticket. I agree with her. It is what it is. I'm sure most of us want to have the winning ticket in our hands, es

Wisdom of the Crowd
Oh, too bad Dan. Of the 116,530 members now on LP quite a number of them took your idea in the OP and played the most mentioned numbers in one of the non-publicized Mystery Lottos . Of course the jackpot was split a lot of ways, an awful lot of ways, so much so that noboady got to retire or buy a dream house or car or any such thing, but a good time was had by all.

$107 million lottery winner turns out to be son of Marriott president
Actually, this big lottery jackpot winner will be receiving less than the initial $68M, after the 45% income taxes paid off. Anyhow, still a great multi-million dollar sum though. Congratulations young man, whether you've been playing $5 twice a week for one year or seven years ... now you've won those net multi-millions! Now this young man can quit his job as an account manager for Pepsi and retire to a different, way less stressful, Ms-Fs daily schedule.

the ohio rolling cash 5
I've been playing around with some combinations, but in recent weeks I've been using my lotto money to play Ohio Classic Lotto. Once the big jackpot is gone in Classic Lotto, I'll probably go back to Rolling Cash 5. (Even $100K is fine by me - I don't need enough to retire on, just enough to be comfortable and have a cushion. Though I wouldn't complain about a big jackpot...LOL)

Money and Happiness
Like some here said, money can buy freedom which can lead to happiness, that's the way I see it. If I were to win tomorrow night's powerball $47 million, I'd retire at 35 and never have to worry about a boss, or bills again. I wouldn't even need to go buy a massive house, a Corvette, and take a trip to Hawaii, those things alone I stated before alone would thrill me!
