The Devil's Advocate
Seriously, though.
Can you imagine someone buying lottery tickets based on predictions provided by anyone here (with the exception a handfull of pick 4 predictors with longterm positive wager/win records?

"666" is hot with Maryland Lottery players
Yesterday's date inspired a popular Pick 3 lottery combination: 666.
But not for long.
The Maryland State Lottery stopped selling midday and evening Pick 3 tickets with that combination late yesterday morning, according to Buddy W. Roogow, the lottery's director. The agency cuts off play when the state's liability on a payout reaches $7 million.
Other sold-out combinations? 066, 660, 6666, 6606, 6066 for the evening drawings. All were variations of June 6, 2006 - a date that represen

WOW ! winning jackpot system at last!
I think it should be pointed out that these scientists are 'much smarter than the average scientist , as they multitask, use the software to make money for themselves, as well as sell it, so others can benefit from their many hours of hard work in writing the program.
Tom:
They might well be. But you failed to explain why those self-same very intelligent scientists aren't using the product to win lotteries instead of attempting to hawk it to others.

W.V. Lottery officials target 'coin-pusher' machines
Retailers could lose licenses if they have coin-pusher devices
Coin-pusher machines are popping up at limited video lottery businesses in violation of state law, and the West Virginia Lottery is warning operators that it will yank their licenses if they do not get rid of the devices.
Coin-pusher machines are touted as skills games by manufacturers and distributors. Players insert coins in the machines in an attempt to push other coins, tokens, jewelry or other prizes off rotating shelves a
