The only thing I can think of about the size is quantity. People could see it as I have to buy more cause the game isn't large enough and won't last long to play. The good news is that you shouldn't need a self checker to know if you won . I was talking to the one lady at the Beer Mart. She put thems out on a Monday along with the guy next to work. She didn't know a $20 was coming out according to her report and I had to show her on the phone what it looked like. Should be interesting on Monday.

Those lower prizes are what the lottery use to increase your odds of winning. If they raised the starting prizes they would just make the odds worse. I don't really pay attention to the prizes, but I would never play a ticket with entry prize lower than ticket cost.

if they want to increase OCL ticket sales, they could create a must win jackpot level and if not won, distribute the jackpot in the secondary prizes. Like that Winfall game in Massachusetts where all the big spenders came in at the last minute and brought most of the second tier prizes to win most of the jackpot money. I think state lottery commissions should have learned a lesson from that, I doubt if that will happen again in the near future.

I increase my odds by having a 1 in 100 chance to scratch a book of 100 tickets, something I would not otherwise do. I make no profit off of the pool itself. Any profit I got would be after winning the pool, if I were to be so lucky.

Some do treat this like a car thing or competition like me being a die hard Ford guy and the other is a die hard Chevy guy.
