The state capital is Springfield (when Blago was governor he never spent one night there), yet the Illinois Gaming Board, IGB, which regulates the casinos, has its headquarters in Chicago. Sometimes i wonder why i buy tickets in the lottery, I live in Kansas in a town with 500 people in it i know they say everyone has the same chance at winning but how many small town winners do you see especially in Kansas most of the jackpots are won on either coast and from larger cities......but then i remember that it is about luck and a cash option of 205 Million is pretty snip awesome and why shouldn't i try my luck and maybe just this once it will be my numbers that come up, Dreams do come

I play with my own chosen numbers and few QPs and so far not winning the MM/SL/Fantasy 5/Daily Derby/Daily 3 and Daily 4 jackpots by several numbers or no numbers. I agree. It was a smart move to involve all of these states, practically guaranteeing the adequate numbers of people necessary to produce winning jackpots, and lower tier prizes. Unless your a mega state such as CA, TX or NY, this would be a tough one to pull off. I think this game will have great success.

I like these kinds of games and for most people they are probably better. Honestly for most people when you just hand them a huge chunk of cash at one time very little good can come from that and most likely they will blow it all. Even for the big jackpots I always assumed you either had to take all cash or do the annuity until I was watching one of those lottery shows and the guy took part of the prize in a lump sum and the rest in an annuity which I thought was the best way to go. $400
