"All Lotteries Available Online"
I wouldn't mind having all lottery games available online. New York already lets me subscribe to Mega Millions and Lotto, and I think they plan on adding Powerball to their online offerings sometime this year. If I could also do Take 5 and Sweet Million online, that would save me the trouble of having to schlep to the store and play. I don't think it would result in me spending more on lottery games, at least not on a regular basis. I might run out and get an extra Quick Pick or two if the MM

Lottery tricks and secrets and scams...
thats a very good question...many times jackpots are noted on the website as QP...but how do you really know if it was a true quick pick or a partial quick pick... if the distinction is made in tennesse for QP1, QP2 etc...then it should be standardized across all states. Otherwise it has the potential to be misleading...many people are not even aware they can mark one number and press QP. I personally dislike Quik Picks since i have the gremlin software (old software) provid

Powerball at $2.00 - What jackpot level do you start playing?
Not at all surprised that Powerball continues to not meet expectations, I knew it was going to happen when they announced it. They keep screwing with things to try and get those massive jackpots they want and it keeps flying back in their faces. IDK how the company in charge of making this decisions couldn't be embarrassed that after all their fiddling over the last few years to try and get a record breaking jackpot, they have continued to fail.. It also doesn't help that MM is currently (well n

Share of expired Powerball jackpot sold in Georgia also to be given away A secret winner's loss will be some lucky Iowans' gain. The Iowa Lottery announced plans Friday to give away $2 million in cash prizes, including a $1 million prize at the Iowa State Fair, with the state's share of a leftover jackpot that went unpaid after a New York lawyer refused to explain how he ended up with the winning ticket. We're going to see if we can have better luck the second time around, Iowa Lottery

Take 5 New York
I've read that people tend to play the lottery more during economic downturns. Maybe that's true, but I sure dont see that with Take5 jackpots. A big JP these days (total payout) is $76,000. Even on Friday's, a day when the JP is always higher , the total pay out is aproximately 80,000. I'd take any amount I won, but I cant help wonder if we'll ever see the days of a Friday nite JP being in the high 90's or even 101 - 102K range. It wasnt all that long ago (2009/2010) when that was the
