Idaho's biggest lottery winner knew he would win
I've starting asking that my verified winning tickets be returned to me but they've been cashed at the local retailer and the most they've matched so far is four.
from the above article But if you ask Brad, those lucky numbers didn't do the work. He did. And luck had nothing to do with it.
Maybe he's believing if he did it once, he can do it again. With new matrix and price, PB jackpots will be larger and maybe he's thinking it's an easier way to reach his billion dollars goal.

CNN producer tells what it's like to win lottery twice
Many of us do have good reasoning ability, but according to lottoreport, about 18.5 million tickets were sold for the previous ($50 million) PB drawing. At that time MM was offering a bigger prize at the same odds for half as much per chance. I'd say that's a lot of people making a choice that's not based on good reasoning.
FWIW, those 18.5 million tickets contributed almost $11.9 million (cash) to the jackpot. That would increase the advertised annuity value by about $19 million if they jack

And just how many Powerball Mega Millions jackpots have you won,Mr. positive thinker?
Yeah,that's what I thought.
Positive thinking has NOTHING to do with winning, N-O-T-H-I-N-G!
You just have to be lucky enough to have the right numbers at the right time.

powerball ripoff
I don't really think it's a ripoff. Mega Millions still costs a dollar, and is very similar to how powerball used to be. This game is going to have bigger Jackpots, I just won't play very often with a $2 ticket. But now there's at least two somewhat different styles of big games.
I know I would have made it different, but I also don't think Lottery games should have a standard 50 percent house edge, I think it should be more like 20 percent (which is a much bigger house edge than almost

powerball ripoff
Was looking at the recent ticket sales. Looks like players are holding off the PB for now. What makes no sense is both jackpots are rising by 10mill. PB should be more.
MM 2/17/12 (23,255,125)
PB 2/18/12 (18,588,952)

Is 50 Million Dollars Not Enough??
Honestly, I'll be fine with $10,000. I don't understand why people like to lose their money when they Jackpots are so high, making someone else rich.
I play the jackpot when the jackpot starts at $20 million. Doesn't matter one bit.
Less players play at these amounts, so the odds are sort of in my favor.
And to answer the question, $50 mill. is enough in my book.

Lottery jackpots may get bigger
The state lotteries predictably increase the odds against lottery players in order to raise massive jackpots whichwas capped at around 180+ million
The euromillions odd in Europe have gone up from 1/80m to 113m.Additionally, they raised the prize of tickets prior to that.
I stopped playing it and just settled for the main lotto. I will be more than happy with 1 million jackpot and 185 million will just make crazy.

'Ordinary' Louisiana couple claims $1M Powerball prize
From the Article:
The Powerball game underwent several enhancements last month to create bigger jackpots, more millionaires and better odds of winning. In addition to a price increase to $2 per play, the game's match-5 prize quadrupled from $200,000 to $1 million.
It didn't QUADRUPLE it QUINTUPLED! LOL .... Just thought I would point that out.

Lottery jackpots may get bigger
hawk,
Me-thinks you are an idiot. I remember a fellow that worked at a convenience store making minimum wage who won the Powerball. It so happened the news media and a rep from the lottery was there when the winner showed up and told his boss he thought he won. I assure you, that dude was white, but definitely not rich. Then there was a guy I believe in South Dakota, or maybe North Dakota who won, with playing his last few bucks. Don't think he was rich either. There have been many winners th

Lottery jackpots may get bigger
The jackpots will reach $200 quicker, more players will jump in, and the roll-overs will be much bigger. Less than 11,000 players won anything substantial (if $100 is considered substantial) and only 140 won $10,000 or more. The 2,766,599 winning tickets worth $14 or less will probably be spent buying tickets for future drawings.
It will be interesting to see if when a jackpot reaches $1/2 billion or even higher and then we can look forward to more how will you spend the money? topics and the
