We need a Lottery Post waving flag
Two aliens...... landed in the Arizona desert near an abandoned gas station.
They approached the gas pumps and one alien said to it .......... Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace.take us to your leader.
The gas pump, of course, did not respond.
The one alien repeated the greeting and there was still no response.
Annoyed by what he perceived as the gas pump's haughty attitude, The alien drew his ray gun and said impatiently........... Greetings Earthling, we come in peace. Why do

a better way
About once a week I get an email saying my yahoo email address was assigned the winning lotto numbers in the UK, Australian, Euro, Canadian, Nigeria, or North Pole lotteries. These are usually secondary prizes ranging from $500K to a couple million. I also get emails from bankers or the widows of the former finance ministers of some war torn countries who are offering me thousands for using my US bank account to transfer the funds. I don't know for a fact that everyone of these are scams but I'm

Record powerball lottery winner reflects on sad life
Mr. Sense had been with us for many years.
No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm and that life isn't always fair.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable Parenting strategies (adults, not kids, are in charge).

Lottery dream shattered for N.C. couple
Is this an alternate reality? You gotta be kidding me. There is a barcode on the back of the ticket that is scannable ANYWHERE (in the state played). As a matter of coincidence I walked in behind a 1 million dollar scratcher winner going to play my numbers Wednesday night. How did we know? Just like every scratchey winner the clerk scrathes off to reveal the number code, which they key and then scan the barcode into the terminal and it verifies the prize with a print out. The print out said

US House votes to kill Internet gambling
There are petitions for recall for most elected officials.... senators and congressmen .... state legislators an locals.... appointed ones such as Federal Judges have to be impeached. Most Executive Branch appointees have to be fired by someone. If they're low enough on the totem pole to qualify as Civil Servants they're easier to kick upstairs or send to Nowheresville than to fire.
For what all that's worth. It ain't happening, and it ain't going to happen.
A grandstanding politician w

N.C. legislators wary of retribution by lottery opponents
If polls show over and over that two-thirds of North Carolinians support a state lottery, then why haven't legislators already adopted one?It is because what polls don't show is the intensity with which opponents fight a lottery and the fear that that prompts in some legislators - particularly those from swing districts. They're the people who will come after you, said Rep. Dewey Hill, D-Columbus, who recently switched his position to support a lottery. They will remember, and they'll come aft

Arizona couple won a lotta lottery grief
In Snowflake, Ariz., between the White Mountains and the Petrified Forest, 16 hectares of tomatoes grow under massive greenhouses -- the dream and downfall of one of Ontario's largest lottery winners. Parkhill mechanic Bernie Nauss won $22.5 million in 1998. But it only took him and his wife, Krista, a few years to lose one-third of their fortune trying to grow hydroponic tomatoes. The town of Snowflake, 310 kilometers northeast of Phoenix, wasn't named for its climate: In the dead of winter dayt

Some information about Powerball
I have many thing to say about the security of powerball, megamillions, and lotto drawings. This is a fact. My friend used to work at one of the lottery departments where they choose the numbers. Here it goes, I will probably be killed for this. yet o well. I do not care to hear any ridiculious feedback, claiming I am a liar, or anything of the such. I am not beside myself. So having known someone who worked for the Lottery Commision And who assisted regually with the machines that RANDOMLY give th
