Powerball lottery jackpot jumps to $32 millionReply
I am hoping for bigger jackpots after powerball changes into the new powerball. Another christmas record we be nice and a higher jackpot average too. So long to the old powerball and in with the new and hopefully larger jackpots powerball.

I think Powerball will not rollover when it goes to the new matrix of 5/55+1/42. I think someone will hit PB jackpot on Saturday 8/27/05. I say the PB Jackpot will be 15 million on 8/31/05. What do you think the PB jackpot will be on 8/31/05 when they go to a 5/55+1/42 matrix where 2 more WBs [total of 55] join the mix?

I like 'em all, but I favor the News, Mystical, Lottery, Jackpots and Gaming forums over the myriad others.News, because it gives me an opportunity to dream up the occasional limerick. Lottery because it's more unpredictable than MM or PB.... anything's liable to show up there....... Jackpots because they talk about jackpot games, which interest me, and Gaming because I like reading what people say about other forms of gambling.Jack

I really enjoy the excitement $100 million plus jackpots create. I can't get anybody at my workplace interested until the jackpots reach that level. But as soon as they break $100 million, nearly everyone seeks me out and handing me money saying, You are gonna run a pool for us, right? . And of course, I do!!!! The more the merrier!

They figured the new odds, 1-177 million, would ensure a long string of no wins and really big jackpots.I'm no math expert, but seems to me that history shows that millions of the many million combinations in just about every lottery game never show up. Good point RjOHBut don't forget, California is the REASON why Mega Millions drawings will constantly have ASTRONOMICAL jackpots and Powerball jackpots will end up being less than those of MM as more people will win more Powerball drawings.

Well if you look at the sales per state it's obvious that the matrix change did have a hit on sales in the other states. Time will tell if this decrease is temporary or not. A few really high jackpots and a few small jackpots later and maybe the sales in states other than CA will increase.

The jackpot is normally between 92-102 million at this point. Hopefully the jackpots jump more once the jackpots get higher. Alot of people realize you can't win a mm jackpot under a 100 million it's been 7 months since that has happened. Powerball will be ok it's a fair game.

Quick-Picks are just as good a method as using a System or Software considering that players have won Jackpots using all 3,it doesn't really matter which method won the most jackpots all 3 work so just choose the one you like best and hopefully it'll work for you.
